One of the funniest types of cheerleaders is the flyer. Flyers have to animate the crowd with dangerous stunts and a smile on their face. Follow these steps to improve among cheerleaders and to retain this popular role on your team.
Steps
Step 1. Make sure your body is as tight and firm as possible
The last thing you want is to fall because your body is too unstable. A firm body also gives a well structured appearance.
Step 2. Never look down
It will only make you more afraid. Try to focus on something and you will be able to acquire greater balance.
Step 3. Make sure you are able to maintain your own weight
To do this, try to stretch inward and push yourself upward. This will make it easier for other cheerleaders to support you. Plus, it will be much easier to stay balanced!
Step 4. Make sure you show a beautiful smile
If your coach asks you to do something you're not sure about, go for it! If you don't, you may lose your place!
Step 5. Move well
The judges will be very strict with your movements.
Step 6. Avoid fighting with those who support you
Being a flyer comes with many challenges, including trusting the people who support you. Don't blame each other - you better have a good relationship so you try to get better results!
Step 7. Try not to be afraid
You can't be afraid and unsure as they throw you up in the air and try to spin. There must be nothing in your mind at those moments, other than what you are doing - your thoughts will only have to be related to the spinning or what the stunt involved involves.
Step 8. Let the cheerleaders who support you give you balance
Do not try to balance yourself, because, in this case, your knees will loosen and you will fall! It depends on your companions to support you and give you balance; if one is higher than the other, lean over. Never bend your knees or move your tallest leg.
Step 9. Distribute your weight evenly as they support you
Don't let it fall on just one person!
Step 10. Avoid attracting attention if you are making a mistake
Simply continue as if nothing had happened and you will not lose too many points.
