Finally, have you decided to make your own wrestling ring in your backyard - or would you like to have one to train in, but don't have a lot of money? This article will tell you how to make a 4 x 4 meter ring for only a fraction of the cost of a professional ring.
Steps
Step 1. Get 4 metal poles with a diameter of 10 cm each (fix them to the ground)
Step 2. Buy 4 5x20cm boards 4m long for the base of the ring
Step 3. Fill the base with something that can support the sheet (mattresses, wheels, etc.)
).
Step 4. Get enough plywood to fill the entire ring space
Attach it to the boards with screws.
Step 5. Use egg boxes as stuffing (2 or 3 layers will do)
Step 6. Now spread a sheet to cover the egg boxes
Step 7. Put hooks in the holes in the posts
Use gaskets and nuts so the hooks don't come off. For the poles, you can buy real turnbuckles and use springs to really tighten the string or just use the hooks.
Step 8. Buy some rope and wrap it in tape or put it in a watering hose so it doesn't hurt when you hit it
Finally, for the stuffing of the poles, take some of the egg boxes and wrap some fabric from a pillowcase or handkerchiefs in them. In all, such a ring will cost you between 10 and 15 euros.
Warnings
- When wrestling in a homemade ring, make sure it is built well and can hold the weight.
- Be very careful when trying to wrestle.
- Professional wrestling is dangerous if non-professionals try to do it.
- While this will be a ring that works well for personal use, it cannot replace a professional ring.
