Often there are situations inside homes that make it difficult to live peacefully there. The reasons may be different. Some believe that the houses may hold some kind of record, in the form of a photo or image, of other people who have lived there in the past. This can sometimes cause unsettling disturbances for the current occupants. These are not real 'ghosts', but simply a kind of photographic image that is left on the fabric of the building itself. A simple cleaning can sometimes erase this fingerprint in the same way that any videotape can be erased and overwritten. Other times it is true hauntings of ghosts where someone has died, in the house or in the place where it is built. They are somehow connected with the place and unable to find rest or pass into the Light. Note: This article assumes that you believe in the supernatural.
Steps
Step 1. Before starting the spiritual cleansing process, there are several important steps that should not be ignored:
- Thoroughly clean the house of garbage and unnecessary objects (physically). Give away what you don't need to those who can use it or do a garage sale and give others what's left (as long as it's in good condition, of course). Many times spiritual restlessness is the consequence of a disordered seat.
- Clean your house, top to bottom: literally, ceilings and attic down to the basement. Wash the walls (diluting vinegar or lemon in water is easier and faster), vacuum, clean the carpets … and don't forget those various storage places such as garages and sheds.
- Air the house for several days if possible. With all the windows and doors now clean and fresh, the fans and ducts free of dust and mold, you can literally say you've thrown out the old and brought new air into your home. After that, if bad weather is expected for a couple of days, take advantage of the moment to clean up… then let the house air renew itself during the following well-ventilated days. Turn off the air conditioner and open all you can. However, it is a good idea to do it twice a year (spring and autumn).
Step 2. Gather the materials you will need
Step 3. Gently pour some water into the salt, adding a prayer or invocation
An example of universalist prayer: "May the mixture of elements of pure salt preserve holiness and may holy water purify this space, in the name of …" (add your own prayer here or put an end to the invocation of any deity in which believe). Perform this ritual in a sacred and meaningful way, knowing that you are creating a powerful medicine to purify and heal your home.
Step 4. Take this holy water and, using your fingers or a small brush, spray it around the walls of each room, on each door and each window
Make sure it is given everywhere.
Step 5. Pour the remaining salt / water mixture in a row in front of any door leading in and out of the building
As you do this, make sure you recite the names of everyone who lives in the house and you wish they could freely pass in and out, including all animals. This allows them to move easily across the boundaries you are drawing.
Step 6. Go back inside the house and in each room light a small white candle and some incense
Let them burn until the end.
Step 7. Place a bouquet of fresh flowers in the main room of the house
Advice
- Always clean with fresh flowers, scented oils, or frankincense after a fight around the house.
- Be sure to completely send out these energies, before placing the salt above the thresholds, because you could keep them inside.
- If you perceive something very disruptive or scary to you in some way, then it is best to invite someone who is experienced in exorcism, because that is what needs to be done. This is often the case with a house built on an ancient burial site, where the spirits are disturbed and displeased.
