In the collective imagination, models are seen as very thin and very tall girls, creatures of impossible sizes, which "no one can look like". However, there are different types of models, with various body shapes. Whatever body shape you are trying to achieve, you can achieve it, starting from your natural shape and arming yourself with a lot of patience.
Steps
Step 1. Choose the body shape you would like to have
Generally, for an aspiring model or otherwise to look like one of them, they should be 1.70 m tall and decidedly thin. Plus-size models are fuller and more curvy, while those who parade for swimwear and underwear are slimmer but with curves.
Step 2. Write down your starting measurements
Over time you will have to compare the improvements, a kind of "before and after". Write down your weight, hips, bust, waist and clothing size. If you prefer, you can also take some photos. This method will encourage you to move forward and help you determine your progress.
Step 3. Plan a diet
Probably, to achieve your goal, you will have to lose weight or buy it. Consult a nutritionist, find out on the internet, ask around and plan a diet that will help you gain, lose or maintain weight, according to your needs.
Step 4. Plan a steady workout
Any model needs to exercise and stay fit to have a beautiful body and be healthy. Go to the gym, hire a personal trainer and explain exactly what you want. You can also work out on your own at home, but make sure you do regular cardio exercises, including through activities like dance, or sports like boxing or ping-pong, and tone your body. Cardio exercises are good for the heart and for building muscle mass, while toning the muscles you will get a more elegant and sexy shape. While focusing in particular on a specific area of the body, avoid neglecting all other exercises to stay in shape. Remember that for best results you will need to exercise regularly.
Step 5. Take care of your skin and hair
The models have beautiful skin and great hair. Take care of your body by eating lots of fruit and drinking lots of water. Avoid foods that are high in fat and oil, as they make the skin oily and full of pimples. Don't use harsh cleansers on your skin. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. If you have any scars you want to get rid of, consult a dermatologist, because whatever treatment you need must be tailored to your skin type.
Step 6. Be consistent
This is always the hardest part: you have to be consistent in both diet and exercise. To motivate yourself, hang a picture of the body shape you intend to achieve and try to empathize with it. Usually, this makes things easier and helps you see the rapid changes in your body more easily.
Step 7. Get someone involved
Generally, we tend to reach a goal more easily when we think we are being watched. Tell your friend or family member, or more people, about your plans. It should be someone you see very often, to whom you can't just lie over the phone.
Advice
- Compare with your old body shape at regular intervals to see your progress.
- Always visualize your new body to be more motivated.
- You don't have to starve.
- Always be optimistic.
- Make sure you are always healthy. If a specific diet or exercise is not right for you, STOP. Look for other better options.
