Steps
Step 1. Draw a circle as the base of the head
It should be quite large, as it will have to contain all facial features.
Step 2. Draw the face shape
The faces of animated characters are simpler than those of real people. The cross serves as a guide for aligning the eyes, nose, mouth and ears. If you decide to draw these guidelines, be sure to follow them and remember to cross them out at the end.
Step 3. Create the basic shapes of the character
These include the eyes, nose, ears, hair, chest and muscles, as shown in the picture.
Step 4. Proceed with the details
Adding some will enhance the character.
Step 5. Review the sketch
There is no problem even if you don't go over the lines perfectly; just try to stick to those as much as possible. This is where you can see if the strokes or shapes are in proportion. If they aren't, do it again!
Step 6. Erase the pencil marks and add more details to enhance the drawing
One technique is to make thicker strokes in some parts of the design to bring out details such as hair, chest, etc. The muscles in particular should be exaggerated, as well as the contours of the face. If you wish you can also color Goku!
