Ingrediants
- 459 g of Basmati Rice or Jasmine
- 240 ml of Coconut Milk
- 720 ml of water
- 1 teaspoon of sea salt or flakes of salt
Steps
Step 1. Pour the rice into a sieve or colander
Rinse it under cold running water until the water is completely clear.
Step 2. Drain the rice and pour it into the pot with the coconut milk, water and salt
Step 3. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally
Step 4. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10-12 minutes (or less if the water is completely absorbed)
Step 5. Serve the rice
Transfer the rice to a serving dish and allow your diners to serve themselves.
