Steps
Method 1 of 3: Simple Piña Colada
Step 1. Pour 1 cup of crushed ice into the blender
Crushed ice can be blended more easily.
Step 2. Add the coconut cream
Your drink will have a pleasant coconut note without being overwhelmed by it.
Step 3. Add the white rum
Alcohol will give your drink the boost you are looking for. If you prefer to make a virgin colada, which is a non-alcoholic piña colada, skip this step.
Step 4. Add the pineapple juice
Step 5. Blend the ingredients to mix them
Use medium power and be sure to incorporate each ingredient evenly. Your piña colada should be simple, sweet and creamy.
Step 6. Pour the piña colada into a glass
Step 7. Decorate it
Decorate your drink with a slice of pineapple resting on the edge of the glass. If you wish, you can also add a maraschino cherry. Enjoy your cocktail on a hot summer day or any other time of the year.
Step 8. Your piña colada is ready
Method 2 of 3: Piña Colada Frozen
Step 1. Blend the crushed ice
Pour the ice into the blender and chop on high power to get rid of the larger chunks. This way your frozen piña colada will have a velvety texture.
Step 2. Pour the remaining ingredients into the blender
Add the coconut cream, pineapple juice, cream and rum.
Step 3. Blend the ingredients on high speed for 15 seconds
Continue until the ingredients are well blended into a thick, icy mixture.
Step 4. Pour your drink into a glass
Any glass will do, but choose a tall or hurricane model for a more dramatic presentation.
Step 5. Decorate the drink with a maraschino cherry
Cut it partially in half and place it on the edge of the glass.
Step 6. Add a straw
This frozen cocktail will perform at its best when sipped slowly through a wide straw.
Step 7. Serve him
Enjoy your cocktail anytime you want.
Method 3 of 3: Strawberry Piña Colada
Step 1. Pour the strawberries and sugar into the blender
Pour the clean and quartered strawberries into the blender, add the sugar. Blend the two ingredients until smooth and blended; you will get a strawberry puree.
Step 2. Transfer the strawberry puree to a pitcher and add the remaining ingredients
Take a large pitcher and fill it with pureed strawberries, pineapple juice, mango juice, white rum and triple sec. Mix the ingredients to blend them.
Step 3. Chill the cocktail
Refrigerate the mixture for at least an hour.
Step 4. Serve him
Pour this delicious strawberry cocktail into a chilled martini glass and decorate it with a sprig of mint.
Advice
- If your piña colada is too runny after blending it, you can add more crushed ice and blend again.
- Duplicate or triple ingredients to make multiple cocktails at once.
Warnings
- Look for an ingredient specifically called "coconut cream" rather than "coconut milk". They are two different products.
- Never make more than three piña coladas at a time, the blender may not be able to mix the ingredients correctly.
