Solving a customer service issue can be quite frustrating, but Groupon has some easy-to-use resources available to help you. To get started, check out the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) on the site and consider the automatic support options. Then, if you still need help, you can reach out to Groupon support via chat, email, or requesting a phone call. Phone support is no longer offered by Groupon, so you will have to rely on one of the other options described.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Use the Customer Service FAQ
Step 1. Open the Groupon FAQ page
On the FAQ page you will find the topics most requested by users. You can use this section of the site to troubleshoot any problems you have encountered.
If you are not logged in to Groupon, you must do so now with the email you used to register on the site and the associated password
Step 2. Click the "Type your question here" search bar
Fortunately, you don't need to browse all the questions on the page. You can search for the problem you are interested in in the bar in the center of the screen.
Step 3. Write your question
For example, if you are unable to close your account, you can type "How do I close my Groupon account?".
Step 4. Click the green magnifying glass button
You will find it on the right in the search bar. Press it and you will start the search.
You can also click a question similar to yours in the menu that appears below the search bar
Step 5. Consult the search results
They will appear below the bar, in the center. In some cases you won't find a question exactly the same as yours, but you can still search through similar problems that other users have had.
Step 6. Click the title of a question similar to yours
Even if you don't see your exact question in the results, you'll likely find one that comes close. Look for similar keywords in the other questions to find the answer you are looking for.
If you don't find the answer you are looking for, you can click I still need help to open the Customer Service page
Method 2 of 3: Use the Self-Service Options
Step 1. Go to Help
To get started, log into your Groupon account, then visit the site's Customer Service page.
Step 2. Select your order
Once logged in, select the specific order you need help with and click "Select".
Step 3. Check the available options
All of the auto service choices for that specific order will appear, including items to change orders, cancel refunds, apply for Groupon credit by returning a voucher, or to return a product.
Method 3 of 3: Chat with Customer Service
Step 1. Open the Groupon Customer Service page
From here you can try to get in touch directly with a customer service representative, who should be able to solve all your problems.
Step 2. Type "help" in the search bar
You will see the bar in the center of the web page, directly under the "Tell us what happens" heading.
Step 3. Click Continue
Once you have written "help" in the search bar, click the green "Continue" button in the lower right corner of the page.
Step 4. Click Live Chat
When you click "Continue" the "Live Chat" box will load on the left side of the page, under the "Contact Options" section.
Step 5. Confirm the chat details
Clicking "Live Chat" will open a new window where you will need to enter your information. Before starting a chat with Groupon Customer Service, you must correctly enter the following information:
- Your name.
- Your email.
- Your question or problem.
Step 6. Click Start Chat
Once you have verified the information, click on the "Start Chat" button in the lower right corner of the window. This will put you in contact with a Groupon customer service representative. Hopefully, your problem will be solved quickly and easily.
