Steps

Method 1 of 2: On Mobile

Step 1. Open the Pinterest application

The icon is represented by a white "P" on a red background.

If you don't have this app, you can download it from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store

Step 2. Tap Create an account

This red button is located almost at the bottom of the screen.

You can also tap "Continue with Facebook" to log in using your Facebook account credentials

Step 3. Enter your email address

You should use an active email address for which you have login credentials.

Step 4. Tap Next at the bottom of the page

Step 5. Enter a password

Make sure it's different than the one you use for your email account.

Step 6. Tap Next

Step 7. Type your name

You will need to enter your name and surname.

Step 8. Tap Next

Step 9. Write down your age

It is not necessary to enter the date of birth.

Step 10. Tap Next

Step 11. Select your gender

If you tap the "Custom Option" option, you will need to enter your gender when prompted.

Step 12. Tap Done

Step 13. Tap at least five interests

The topics selected on this page will affect the content you see in the feed.

Step 14. Tap Next at the top right

Pinterest will begin structuring your profile based on your selected interests. At this point you can create your first board and start saving the pins.

Method 2 of 2: On Desktop

Step 1. Visit the Pinterest website at the following address:

www.pinterest.com.

Step 2. Enter your e-mail address and the password of your choice in the corresponding fields, ie "E-mail" and "Create a password", in the center of the page

You can also click "Continue as [name]" to log in with your Facebook account if you wish

Step 3. Click Continue

This red button is located under the "Create a password" field.

Step 4. Enter the required data to complete the profile

You will need to fill in the following fields:

"Full name": enter your name and surname;
"Age": write your age (not your date of birth);
"Gender": Click on the button next to "Male", "Female" or "Custom option". If you select the latter option, you will be prompted to enter your gender.

Step 5. Click Register

This red button is located at the bottom of the page titled "Welcome to Pinterest" and allows you to create your account.

Step 6. Click Skip for now at the bottom of the page

Step 7. Click on at least five topics

The interests selected on this page will determine the content you will see in the feed.

Step 8. Click Finish

Pinterest will begin structuring your profile based on your selected interests. Now you can create your first board and start saving pins.

Advice

If you experience technical difficulties when registering on Pinterest, try using a different browser, or clear your history and cookies. Pinterest recommends using Firefox or Chrome.
If you can't sign up on Pinterest using your Facebook account, you may have blocked it. Pinterest can be unblocked on your Facebook account within the "App Blocking" section, which can be found in the "Block" tab of the "Settings" menu.
