Do you need to conquer a special girl or boy? Here are some tips on how to write a great song and how to perform.
Steps
Step 1. Calm down
If you want your song to have a relaxing effect, like a lullaby, don't rush to finish the composition, otherwise the emotions and thoughts of the song will be lost. Of course, there are some exceptions, but it's a general rule for its good reasons. The genre doesn't have to be too specific, but most girls like acoustic pop, because it is romantic and implies optimistic messages: for example, every girl is beautiful in her own way and so on.
Step 2. Sincerity
Look inside yourself, let all the feelings for her flow. Girls love happiness, truth, and most of all, personal references, so let her know that the song is about her. A verse could be: "We will run away together … I wonder if it's true, if you will be there".
Step 3. Romance
You don't have to force yourself to write things like "your hair is golden like the sands of the Sahara". Try to rhyme. Write one sentence, then the second, and then make the third sentence rhyming with the first. For example “our life will always be united / even if it is not true love / even if it will be over”. Remember that it is not necessary to compose a milestone of poetry and originality, avoid clichés, add a little humor and you will do just fine. Many girls have a weakness for feelings.
If the song is slow but has a great rhythm, call a group of friends to clap and sing softly
Step 4. A song usually lasts 2 minutes
This way you will grab his attention for longer. Three minutes is fine too.
Step 5. Structure the text
Follow this sequence: introduction (if you prefer it can only be instrumental), verse, chorus, verse, chorus, intermission, final chorus. If you feel like it, you can even slightly tweak the final chorus.
Step 6. Hold the final note a little longer and try to make eye contact
Step 7. Practice
You won't get a second chance, because the first impression, in some cases, is what matters!
Advice
- Use your favorite song to structure the song (see the fifth step).
- Try not to go crazy, calm down and look at the audience, then your fingers (if you're playing an instrument), then the audience again, and don't stare at anything in particular.
- If you have problems, pretend they pay you 50 million euros to do it.
- If you play an instrument, like piano or guitar, play it and she'll think you are very talented.
- If you play the guitar, you can use a lot of chords. However, most of the love songs are made on four chords, in 4/4: C, G, A minor, F. Put them together to create verses and choruses. If you want a more rock tone, play them in power chord.
- If you play the electric guitar, you can play it anyway; lower the volume of the amplifier and do not put any particular effect. If you have an acoustic guitar, play it with vocal accompaniment. In some cases, the saying “the simpler, the better” really helps.
Warnings
- Don't stare at the girl all the time, you will make her nervous.
- If you don't have a band, you can play solo.
- If you want to play the song together with your band, make sure everyone knows their part.
