E-books are very useful tools when you want to travel light, especially for reading lovers. But what to do when you think that the book you have just read will also appeal to a friend or family member? If you own an iPad, sharing an e-book is really very simple. This tutorial shows the steps to follow.

Method 1 of 2: Share an E-Book Link
Step 1. Launch the iBooks application
From your iPad's 'Home', identify the iBooks icon. Once located, select it to launch the app.
Step 2. Select an e-book
Select the PDF or e-book you want to share.
Step 3. Select the icon to access the main menu
It is located in the upper left corner of the screen, next to the button to access your library.
Step 4. Select the 'Share' button located on the index page of the book you have chosen
The 'Share' button is located in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 5. Select the person you want to share the selected book with
You can share the selected book via one of the following options: email, SMS, Twitter, Facebook, or copy the link to share the e-book in another way.
Method 2 of 2: Sharing Directly By Email
Step 1. Launch the iBooks application
From your iPad's 'Home', identify the iBooks icon. Once located, select it to launch the app.
Step 2. Select an e-book
Select the PDF or e-book you want to share.
Step 3. Press the 'Share' button at the top of the screen that appeared after opening the selected e-book / PDF
You will be shown two options:
