If you want to relive the 90s, Macarena is the perfect way to do it. It's perfect for large groups of people with no sense of rhythm! Are you ready to get carried away by the most overwhelming dance since the Simone Ball? It's easy to impress your friends with your Macarena moves.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: The classic method
Step 1. Start the Macarena
Well, it can be done without the actual song, but that would be pretty bizarre. So either you retrieve your Los Del Rio album or go to YouTube or start dancing it by memorizing if you can.
Step 2. Start from the third eighth
It is counted one beat at a time, so the first two eighths correspond to 16 beats (8 x 2). The first sixteen beats of the song are soft - only a little synthesizer is heard and then BAM! Here you hear "Ay!" and you leave "exactly" after that.
Feel free to do whatever you want in these first two eighths. A lyrical dance? A waltz? The tip tap? The more in contrast, the better
Step 3. Count following the music
Each beat should follow from 1 to 8. As soon as you hear "Ay!", You know the next beat is one. Each movement corresponds to a specific beat. All time!
Step 4. Extend your right arm in front of you with your palm facing down at 1
On 2, extend your left arm out in front of you, still palm down.
Step 5. On 3, turn your right hand
On 4, turn your left hand. Cooompletamente - as if you were waiting for someone to pass you a check.
Step 6. On 5, grab or touch only the left shoulder with the right hand
Guess what it's like at 6? That's right - touch your right shoulder with your left hand.
Step 7. Slide your right hand along the left arm and touch the right side of the head at 7
And at 8? Good - touch the left side of the head with the left hand.
Step 8. Put your right hand on your left hip at 1
Follow this with your left hand on your right hip on 2. Are you there so far? Do you feel the irrepressible need to shake your hair?
Step 9. On 3, place your right hand on the right side of your butt
On 4, do the same with the left (on the left side).
Step 10. Rotate your hips 3 times - right, left, and right again on 5, 6, and 7
Then at 8, jump and turn a quarter to the left and clap your hands. That's all!
Some don't clap their hands, it's your choice
Step 11. Repeat
Easy, right? Now remember to always do everything with a smile, as if you were remembering the glorious days of blue eyeshadow and butterfly hair clips.
As soon as you return to the ground, you must be ready to extend your left hand to 1. Four rotations and you should be back where you started
Step 12. If you really want to go for it, shake your shoulders and hips lightly with each beat
The only way you can really be able to dance it is by putting your own in it. So, along with the arm movements, follow the music! After all, it's enthralling. It's the Macarena, guys. It makes you crazy.
Method 2 of 2: Same as in the Video
Step 1. Extend the right arm in front of you at 1, followed by the left arm at 3
That's right - the video skips beats. You skip the steps and only move in the odd ones.
Step 2. Put your right hand behind your head on 5
The left hand goes over the head at 7. Skip the part where you turn your palms up. There is no time!
Step 3. Put your right hand on your butt at 1
Then the left hand on the butt (the left side, of course) on the 3.
Step 4. Rotate your hips to the right, left, right on 5, 6, and 7 in the same way as in traditional dance
Then jump by turning a quarter to the left and repeat!
Step 5. Since we go much slower here, get carried away
Watch those crazy girls in the video for inspiration (but don't copy their hairstyles): their hips and shoulders follow the rhythm while their arms stay still. You will see that you too will be equally good. Your boyfriend Vittorino will never leave the city.
