Are you tired of wallpapering? Read this article to learn how to melt and have fun when you go dancing!
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Overcoming the Emotion
Step 1. Dress well
If you are comfortable with yourself, you will increase the chances of having fun on the track. Put on your favorite clothes and make sure you wear something that allows you to move comfortably. Try to avoid tight or too short clothes and above all do not leave comfortable shoes at home.
Don't forget to check if the club requires a certain type of clothing; some venues apply restrictions in this regard
Step 2. Go together with a group of friends
The more you are the less you will feel uncomfortable while dancing. Not to mention that talking to your friends will distract you from the thought that strangers are watching you. Go dancing with a group of friends you are sure to have a good time with.
Step 3. Explore the environment
Before you hit the dance floor, check out the club. Observe your surroundings, the people dancing and try to understand what kind of music they are playing. Getting familiar with your surroundings will help you eliminate some of the tension you may feel upon entering the club.
If you need to go to the bathroom to touch up your makeup or hair, do it before you hit the track so you don't have to worry about it anymore
Step 4. Order a drink
There is no need to get drunk to have fun at the club, but consider popping into the bar for a drink while chatting with friends. It will help you melt, give you time to get used to the environment and maybe make some new acquaintances.
Always drink responsibly. While a little alcohol can help you melt, drinking too much will only cause problems and embarrassment
Step 5. Relax your muscles
If the mere thought of dancing makes you embarrassed, your muscles may also be affected by becoming tense, especially in the neck and shoulder area until your knees lock. The result will be awkward movements to perform and to watch. If you think it will help go to the bathroom, breathe deeply and shake your body to release the built-up tension.
Method 2 of 2: How to Dance
Step 1. Listen to the music
Instead of worrying about which moves to pull off, take the time to listen to the songs and try to get into the rhythm. Once found, start moving your head in time. This will also help you while you dance.
Dancing to the tunes of songs you like is undoubtedly more fun than dancing to something you don't know or don't like. If you are having a hard time finding the beat of the music they are playing, take a break until a song comes along that "inspires" you
Step 2. Choose a space on the track
If you have been out with a group of friends, let them protect you by forming a circle around you. You will feel more comfortable and it won't matter if others look at you or not. Let your body move freely following the music. Listen to the beat and don't try to move faster than the music itself suggests.
- Start moving your head in rhythm up and down and side to side.
- Move your hips back and forth.
- Take small steps from one side to the other.
Step 3. Observe others around you
If you still feel uncomfortable or stuck shop around to find the ones that seem perfectly comfortable. Watch them dance and try to mimic some of their moves. Maybe without being too obvious or staring at them for too long.
Step 4. Smile
Show that you are having fun! Laughing with your friends will help release endorphins, which will make everything more pleasant and natural. Not to mention that pouting dancing can be out of place.

Advice
- Practice at home in front of a mirror. Put on your favorite music, close the door and let yourself go! The more comfortable you feel about dancing in private the better you will feel when doing it in public.
- Remember that not everyone is there to look at you. Discos are usually dark and crowded. Regardless of how you feel, most of those present will not even notice your presence. So let yourself go and enjoy the moment!
- Consider taking hip-hop or other modern dance classes to learn the basics of clubbing.
