Time passes for everyone, but many of us would like to minimize the marks it leaves on our face. Facial yoga offers a healthy alternative to Botox, facelifts and other invasive cosmetic treatments. By exercising them, the muscles of the scalp, neck and face will become stronger and more flexible and, as a result, the skin on the face will appear fuller and more relaxed. In addition to this, by practicing facial yoga regularly and in the correct way, the forehead wrinkles are reduced because the circulation improves, the muscles relax and the stress decreases. This article will guide you in performing several useful exercises.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Lion's Face Exercise
Step 1. Sit with your back straight and take a deep breath
In addition to being an effective workout for the facial muscles, the lion face exercise helps to relax the rest of the body as well. Before starting, make sure your back is straight and take a long, deep breath.
Step 2. Contract all muscles
As you inhale, try to tighten every muscle in your body.
Step 3. Do the lion face exercise
As you exhale, slowly relax your muscles, stick out your tongue, open your eyes wide and straighten your fingers.
When you stick your tongue out, try to point it downward as you open your mouth wide or smile broadly
Step 4. Maintain the position
Stand with your tongue out and mouth and eyes wide open for 5-10 seconds.
To reap the maximum benefits and effectively reduce forehead wrinkles, it is very important to open your eyes wide
Step 5. Rest your face and repeat
Relax your whole body for a few seconds, then do the exercise again. Repeat this at least three times.
- Last time, try to hold the position for a full minute.
- This is a truly excellent exercise for the face; allows you to relieve tension, stretch muscles and stimulate blood circulation.
Method 2 of 4: Exercise the "V"
Step 1. Make a "V" with the fingers of both hands
Like when you make the peace sign by extending your index and middle fingers upwards.
Step 2. Use the two "V's" to frame the eyes
Place your fingers so that the eye is in the middle of the "V", with the middle finger just below the bridge of the nose near the inner corner of the eye. The index finger, on the other hand, must touch the outer corner of the upper eyelid.
- It will appear that you are keeping your eyes open with your two fingers.
- Looking in the mirror, you should see that your fingers form a "V" under both eyes.
Step 3. Look towards the ceiling and squint
Look up while closing your eyes tightly.
Step 4. Push the skin up with your fingers
Use the two fingers that form the "V" to push the skin of the face upwards while squinting. This will activate the muscles of the eyebrow and forehead, which will have to counteract the resistance opposed by the fingers.
Step 5. Remove your fingers from your face and squint your eyes again
This time hold the position for 10 seconds, finally relax your face.
Step 6. Let your muscles rest and repeat
At the end of the exercise, relax your face muscles for a few seconds, then start over from the beginning. This exercise should be repeated 6 times, not forgetting to squint and then relax her eyes in between.
In addition to smoothing forehead wrinkles, the "V" exercise helps prevent puffy eyes, crow's feet, bags under the eyes and drooping eyelids. Do it in combination with the other exercises and make it an integral part of your anti-aging ritual
Method 3 of 4: Owl exercise
Step 1. Create a "C" with the fingers of both hands
Imagine you are holding binoculars at eye level.
The thumbs should be placed under the eyes, while the index fingers just above the eyebrows
Step 2. Use your index fingers to pull the forehead skin down
To do this, they will have to press firmly against the forehead.
Step 3. Try to raise your eyebrows as if in amazement while opening your eyes wide as well
To do this you will have to counter the resistance opposed by the indices.
Step 4. Stay in this position for two seconds
Continue to pull the skin of the forehead down while keeping the eyebrows raised and the eyes wide open for 2 seconds.
Step 5. Relax your face, then repeat
Also rest your hands by removing your fingers from your face. Repeat the exercise 3 more times.
Step 6. Last time, hold the position for 10 consecutive seconds
When performing the exercise for the fourth and final time, stay with your eyebrows raised and your eyes wide open for 10 seconds, while continuing to pull the skin of your forehead down with your index fingers. This is a great way to strengthen and tone your forehead muscles.
Step 7. Repeat every day
Do this exercise daily, in conjunction with the others in this article, if you want to have a smooth, wrinkle-free forehead.
Method 4 of 4: "Straighten" the Forehead Skin
Step 1. Place your hands on your forehead
The fingers should be pointing towards each other, pointing towards the center of the forehead.
Step 2. Gently pull the skin towards the temples
Gently press your fingers against your forehead, then move them towards your temples to stretch the skin.
- Imagine that you want to iron the skin to make the wrinkles disappear permanently.
- Don't be afraid to press and pull with moderate firmness. You will need to feel a slight resistance against your skin as you perform this exercise.
Step 3. Relax your face muscles
When you are satisfied, let the skin and muscles of your face rest for a few moments.
Step 4. Repeat the exercise ten times a day
Instead of using Botox, do this movement every day, ten times, to reduce forehead wrinkles.
This is a good recovery exercise to do at the end of your daily beauty workout
