Oprah Winfrey is perhaps the biggest name on the talk show circuit. If you have ideas for a program, or think you are perfect for her magazine, "O", you can send her your proposal. His show is interesting because space is given to all kinds of people. Here are some ways to contact Oprah.
Steps
Step 1. Find out his interests
You may be a huge fan of her show or bestselling book from three years ago, but this is probably old and boring news for her. Read Oprah's website carefully, there are many clues to her current interests:
Step 2. Consider who you are, what you have accomplished, and what your plans are to make a good impression on Oprah or the people checking her email
It's not enough for you to be the best in your class or have a successful store, because that doesn't make you different from the thousands of Oprah fans.
Step 3. Think carefully about your idea and write it down in detail
Oprah and her producers receive thousands of submissions. You have to make yours stand out among the many. If you want to suggest an idea for a show, explain it thoroughly and list all the experts recommended for the show.
Double-check your letter and correct any errors in style, grammar and typing. Include details, but get straight to the point
Step 4. Read the page “You just might get Oprah to drop in on you
”, Http://www.oprah.com/spirit/Oprah-Come-to-My-Small-Town. As you read the explanations on how to participate, notice the keywords “special and extraordinary” and “something amazing”. For this activity, Oprah is looking for groups and communities, so your role might be to collect signatures and put together a proposal. Especially note that Oprah doesn't want professional photography (or presumably video). So she doesn't care about the shots from your chamber of commerce, etc.
Read the comments of the readers, since from them you can get an idea of the competition in which you are embarking
Step 5. A different way to contact Oprah is by auditioning, as explained in "Do You Have What It Takes to Be a TV Star?
, https://www.oprah.com/pressroom/Oprah-Searches-for-the-Next-Star-for-Your-OWN-Show_1. Review the five categories of audition, and determine which one is best for you First of all, you will need to present yourself well on stage. The auditions are open to anyone so if nothing else, you will be noticed. Even if the audition fails, you will still receive constructive criticism and experience.
Again, read the comments of other readers
Step 6. Contact Oprah directly via e-mail by submitting an opinion in her magazine:
www.oprah.com/ownshow/plug_form.html?plug_id=505. This method is less likely to succeed because your inbox will be flooded with thousands of other emails, but it's worth a try. Messages posted on this page do not always receive a personal response from Oprah. Note that there is a limit of 2000 characters, and that what you write may not remain confident between three and Oprah
