Pairing a pair of Plantronics headsets with your mobile device, such as a smartphone or tablet, is very simple to do via Bluetooth. This tutorial shows you the simple steps to follow.
Steps
Step 1. Make sure your earphones are charged
Normally to indicate that the battery is fully charged the LED should be illuminated and steady.
If the battery is low, you should normally hear a single sound every 15 seconds, or see that the LED indicator starts flashing
Step 2. Turn on your earphones
There are several ways to turn on a pair of Plantronics headsets, but in all models you can do this by pressing the easily identifiable 'Power' button. Then press the 'Power' button or move the power switch to the 'ON' position.
Step 3. Activate the 'Pairing' mode
To do this, consult the manual for the earphones as the specific procedure differs from model to model.
- If your earbuds have a single multi-function button, press and hold it for 5-6 seconds when the earbuds are off, until the indicator light starts flashing.
- If the earbuds have an 'On-Off' switch, press and hold the button to make a call for 5-6 seconds, until the indicator light starts flashing.
- For headphones with an 'On-Off' button, while the device is off, press the 'Power' button for 5-6 seconds, until the indicator light starts flashing.
Step 4. Pair the devices
After activating the earphone pairing mode, enable the Bluetooth connection of the device to which you want to connect the earphones (audio player, smartphone, computer, etc).
