Nine ball pool is one of the many game modes available in the pool game, and features a sequence of nine numbered and colored balls (billiards), plus a white ball (cue ball). The first player to pocket the number 9 ball wins.
Steps
Step 1. Arrange the nine balls on the pool table, inside the 'diamond'
Ball number '1' must be placed in the vertex of the diamond closest to the cue ball, while ball number 9 must be placed in the central position of the diamond.
Step 2. You need to choose which player will open the game
To do this you can throw a coin, roll a die, take a card from a deck, etc … The player who shoots first must hit ball number 1 using the cue ball. After taking the opening shot, the player can perform a 'push out', i.e. a regulation shot, by moving the cue ball (white ball) to the best position for him.
Step 3. The game continues normally
At each subsequent shot, the white ball must hit the ball with the lowest number.
