Do you suffer from sleepiness after meals? Do you eat continuously due to boredom, fatigue or loneliness? All of these things cause unnecessary weight gain and force you to lose self-confidence, while you want to get the opposite result!
Steps
Step 1. You've already taken the first step by looking for this guide, acknowledging that you have a problem
Start by writing down everything you eat on a weekday and on a public holiday, such as on the weekend.
Step 2. Now analyze what you wrote in step one, when did you eat the most?
After breakfast (if you really have breakfast), before lunch, dinner, etc.? And more importantly, what did you eat in those moments?
Step 3. Start by deleting only one thing at a time
For example, you decide not to eat a cookie after lunch. Avoid that cookie for one day and try to do the same thing the next day. After doing it for seven consecutive days, you will be surprised to realize that it was not necessary to eat it and that you are devoid of any psychological addiction to that cookie eaten between meals. The next week, choose to eliminate another snack.
Step 4. Set specific times for breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, snack and dinner, allowing at least 3 or 4 hours to pass between them
Step 5. If you are among those who are easily tempted, make your own snacks not exceeding 100 calories and choose healthy foods such as celery, carrots, crackers and whole and low-salt baked goods, almonds, fruits, hummus, etc
The possibilities at your disposal are endless, and often full of flavor, you will simply need a little work to prepare them.
Step 6. Drink some water whenever you have an urgent need to nibble on something and think positively as you do it, acknowledge that you are doing it for your own good
Avoiding calories and guilt will help you increase your self-control, get back in shape, have healthier skin and better overall health.
Step 7. In case you fail once, don't give up completely
Start over, just like you don't give up when your child falls while learning to walk, ride a bike, etc. Tell yourself that everything is fine and try again!
