If you are looking for a recipe to prepare a delicious, delicate and moist chocolate cake from scratch like only grandma could do, you have found it!
Ingrediants
- 240 ml of milk
- 250 g of flour 00
- 90 g of granulated sugar
- One and a half teaspoons of yeast
- 40 g of cocoa
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of vanillin
- 118 ml of oil
Steps
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C
Step 2. Grease and flour a 23x33 cm baking pan
Step 3. In a large bowl, mix the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt
It will be necessary to sift all the ingredients to incorporate more air so the cake will be more spongy.
Step 4. Add the eggs, milk, oil and vanillin
Work the mixture with an electric mixer at medium speed for about two minutes or by hand.
Step 5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan
With a spatula distribute it evenly.
Step 6. Cook for 35-40 minutes
Step 7. Wait for the cake to cool and decorate it with your favorite icing
Advice
- This is the recipe for a very delicate cake. If you decide to remove it from the pan, wait 10 minutes for it to cool.
- If you intend to put the cake on the aluminum-coated tray, place the latter on top of the cake pan. Keep one hand in the center of the tray and the other under the pan with the cake, with a single movement overturn everything so that the cake lies gently on the tray without falling heavily.
Warnings
- To prevent the residue of white flour you used to flour the pan from noticing on the chocolate cake, use cocoa.
- Now on the market there are spray oils to grease the trays and they can be very convenient. Don't sprinkle them on the flour though!
- If you turn the cake upside down without the support of a tray, you could create large cracks in the cake and even break it.
