Advice
- Leaving the vodka and lavender flowers in the freezer for less than 4 days will give the infusion a more delicate flavor. Some sources recommend limiting the infusion time to just 15 minutes. If you're not sure whether you like an intense infusion, start with a 15-minute period and gradually increase it to your taste, tasting the vodka in the process.
- The color of the vodka will begin to change almost immediately, taking on purple tones.
- Donate your lavender vodka. Collect glass or decorated bottles throughout the year, fill them with homemade lavender vodka, and add a sprig of dried lavender to each. Keep them in a cool, dry place until you are ready to give them away.
