In Skyrim, stealth is a very useful skill mainly for two reasons. You can use the Creeper that no one can see and use levels to increase your magic or health level, instead of stamina (which is what an assassin or rogue wants). Then you can use the perks of other abilities, in addition to those of stealth! Start reading this article to understand how to improve your stealth.
Steps
Step 1. You need a dagger
Is very important.
Step 2. You will need to have obtained permission to enter High Hrothgar in the Throat of the World (You will get it by going on with the story)
Step 3. Once you have finished training with the Greybeards in Thu'um, go to the main entrance
Step 4. Go to the corridor to the right using stealth
Step 5. Pull out the lethal daggers and you will see a Greybeard meditating at the altar
Step 6. Stand behind him, save and set the difficulty to maximum (this way, you will be able to land more hits and you won't have to wait long for his health to recharge)
Step 7. Approach and attack
Step 8. When he gets to his feet or notices you, run and hide around the corner under the stairs
(If you have the Silent Run skill, use it!)
Step 9. Repeat the process until your stealth reaches 100
Advice
- The Voice of the Emperor imperial ability could calm Greybeard if it attacks.
- If it starts attacking you, reload your saved game or accept what you've done up to that point and leave Hrothgar High for a while, until the Greybeard has forgotten about you.
- Owning the Cry "Go Ethereal" is great, because it prevents all the damage they could do to you!
- You could also use a very powerful Calming spell.
