This wikiHow teaches you how to view the remaining battery percentage indicator on a Macbook. You can have this information on the screen by enabling the display of the Mac battery status from the "System Preferences" dialog box and activating the appropriate indicator that appears on the menu bar.
Steps
Step 1. Click on the icon
It is located in the upper left corner of the screen on the menu bar. The "Apple" menu will appear.
Step 2. Click on the System Preferences item
It is the second option of the "Apple" menu starting from the top.
Step 3. Click the Energy Saver icon
It has a light bulb and is displayed in the second row of options.
Step 4. Click the "Show battery status in menu bar" checkbox
