Steps
Method 1 of 3: Saving the screen
Step 1. Open Microsoft OneNote
The start page has a top bar. Select "Insert" and then "Save screen".

Advice
- OneNote includes a shortcut to save your screen: if you have the program running on your PC, you can press Windows + S to use the tool without having to open OneNote at the same time.
- Screenshots or images with words can be indexed. Just right-click on the image in OneNote and select "Make text indexable".
Warnings
- Screenshots obtained in OneNote are always saved in.png. They can be bulky, in the case of images with many pixels (they are smaller for small images, compared to other formats).
- In OneNote 2003 there is no right-click menu to save the screen as an image file.
