This article explains how to contact a seller on Amazon. Items shipped by Amazon are usually handled by internal customer service. If an item has been sold and shipped from a third party retailer, you can click "Get help with ordering" on the Orders page. Otherwise, you can click on the seller's name and ask him a question.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Contact a Third Party Seller
Step 1. Go to the Amazon site with a browser
You can use the program of your choice, on Mac or PC.
If you haven't already, click on Accounts and lists in the upper right corner, then click on Log in. Log in with the email and password associated with your Amazon profile.
Step 2. Click on My Orders in the upper right corner
The list of orders you have placed in the past will open.
Step 3. Click on the seller's username
You'll find it next to "Sold by:" under the item name.
Step 4. Click Ask a Question
You will see this yellow box at the top of the page.
Step 5. Select the type of request next to "I need help on"
The options are "An order I placed" or "An item for sale".
Step 6. Select a topic
You can use the drop-down menu next to "Select a topic":
- Shipping.

Returns and Refunds Policy.
- Customize a product.

Another question.
Step 7. Click on Write your message
This yellow button will appear at the bottom of the page once you have selected a topic.
Step 8. Type your message in the text field
You must respect the 4000 character limit.
If necessary, you can click on "Add attachment" to insert an image or file.
Step 9. Click Send Email
You will see this yellow button at the bottom. Press it and it will send the message to the seller as an email. Wait for the answer for two weekdays.
Alternatively, you can contact Amazon customer service at 800-145-851 if the item was shipped by Amazon.
Method 2 of 2: Get Help with an Order
Step 1. Visit the Amazon page with a browser
You can use the program of your choice, on Mac or PC.
If you haven't already, click on Accounts and lists in the upper right corner, then click on Log in. Log in with the email and password associated with your Amazon profile.
Step 2. Click on My Orders in the upper right corner
The list of orders you have placed in the past will open.
Step 3. Click Get help with an order
It is the third yellow button in the third yellow box of the article.
This item is only available to third-party sellers who also handle shipping. For third-party sellers shipping with Amazon, please use Method 1 to contact them or speak to Amazon Customer Service at 800-145-851.
Step 4. Select an issue
Choose one of the options below to describe your problem, or click "Other Problem" to view other items:
- The package did not arrive.

Damaged or defective item.
- Different than what I ordered.

I do not need it anymore.

Other problem.
Step 5. Write your message
Use the "Describe your problem" text field to write a message to the seller.
Step 6. Click Submit
You will see this yellow button below the text field. Press it and you will send the message. Wait for a response for two business days.
