This article explains how to contact Yahoo. You can use an online tool to report spam or harassment; if you want to solve a simple problem regarding your profile, you can try using the Help Center. There are no phone numbers or email addresses that you can use to contact Yahoo staff, so if you find a number associated with Yahoo support, don't call it. Remember that you can change or reset your password without having to contact Yahoo.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Report Spam or Harassment
Step 1. Open the Yahoo Email to Specialist page
This page, available in English only, allows you to report problems with your Yahoo profile. This is the only way to communicate directly with Yahoo's services.
Step 2. Enter your Yahoo email
In the "Yahoo ID" text field at the top, type the email associated with your Yahoo account.
Step 3. Add your email
In the "Email address that you have access to" field, enter the email address you want to use for communication. You can choose the Yahoo profile you usually use or another email (for example Gmail).
Step 4. Rewrite the email
Do this in the "Re-enter the email address…" field.
Step 5. Provide a detailed description
In the "Detailed description of issue" field, write a message (in English) explaining what happened, the steps you took to try to prevent the problem, and any other details that can help Yahoo find a correct solution.
Step 6. Enter the Yahoo email of whoever caused you the problem
Enter the email address of the person who sends you spam or who has harassed you in the "Yahoo ID of the person you are reporting" field.
Make sure you enter the e-mail address correctly, otherwise, if you get the wrong address, you risk suspending the account of a person unrelated to the facts
Step 7. Check the "I'm not a robot" box
You will see this entry at the bottom of the page.
Step 8. Click Create Request
This blue button is located at the bottom of the page. Press it and your email will be sent.
Step 9. Wait for the answer
A Yahoo specialist will send you an email to the address you provided and that point you can communicate with him as needed.
If the problem is easy to fix, the specialist may take care of it for you and you won't need to send any more messages
Method 2 of 2: Use the Help Center
Step 1. Open the Yahoo Help Center page, located at this address
You can't contact Yahoo through the Help Center, but you can find solutions to common problems.
Step 2. Click on the See More tab
You will see it at the top right of the page. A menu will appear.
Step 3. Select a product
In the menu that just appeared, click on the product you need help with. The support page for that service will open.
For example, if you need help with your profile, click on Account.
Step 4. Select a topic
Under the "Browse by Topic" heading on the left side of the page, click on a topic related to the product you have selected. By doing so, a list of articles containing information will appear in the center of the page.
Step 5. Select an article
Click on one of the links in the center of the page. The article you are interested in will open.
Step 6. Read the results page
Based on the link you clicked on, you will see different information; in many cases you will find a list of instructions, advice or information on the selected topic.
For example, if you have selected Account as a product, Account security as an argument e Protect your Yahoo account as an article, a page will open containing instructions on how to make your Yahoo profile more secure.
Step 7. Follow the directions
Again, the steps to follow vary based on what you are trying to do. Once you have completed the instructions you received from the Help Center, you can return to the main support page to get more advice if you find it necessary.
On some pages, you will find links that require you to fill out a form or contact Yahoo for assistance
