This article explains how to generate a link to allow users to subscribe to your YouTube channel from any website. When someone clicks on the link posted on your website or on your social network profile, they will automatically be redirected to the YouTube channel subscription page.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Computer
Step 1. Visit the website https://www.youtube.com using your computer's internet browser
If you are not logged in with your account yet, please do so now by clicking on the button Log in located in the upper right corner of the page.
Step 2. Click on your profile icon
It is displayed in the upper right corner of the page. A drop-down menu will appear.
Step 3. Click on the Your Channel option
It is displayed at the top of the appeared menu. The main page of the channel will be shown.
Step 4. Select the URL displayed in the browser address bar
Normally you can do this by simply clicking inside the address bar displayed at the top of the browser window.
Step 5. Press the key combination ⌘ Cmd + C (on Mac) or Ctrl + C (on Windows).
The URL of your YouTube channel page will be copied to the system clipboard.
Step 6. Launch a text editor on your computer
If you are using a Windows platform, you can use the program Block notes or Wordpad searching for them in the "Start" menu. If you are using a Mac, you can use programs TextEdit or Pages present in the "Applications" folder.
Step 7. Click on an empty spot in the new document with the right mouse button, then choose the Paste option
The URL you copied should have appeared inside the text editor window you chose to use.
Step 8. Add the following text string? Sub_confirmation = 1 to the end of the URL
Do not insert a blank space between the URL and the new text, just type it precisely at the end of the address you copied.
For example, if the URL you pasted is https://www.youtube.com/user/WikiHow?view_as=subscriber, after editing it should look like this https://www.youtube.com/user/WikiHow?view_as = subscriber? sub_confirmation = 1
Step 9. Copy the new URL to the system clipboard
Select it entirely with the mouse so that it is highlighted in blue, then press the key combination ⌘ Cmd + C (on Mac) or Ctrl + C (on Windows).
Step 10. Go to where you want to insert the new link
This can be any program, tool or platform that allows you to manage a URL, including the HTML code of a web page, the profile of a social network or the signature that appears at the bottom of your e-mails. If you have chosen to use a social network profile, you will need to enter the link in the "Website" or "URL" text field of your account.

- If you have chosen to insert the code within the profile of a social network such as Instagram or Twitter, you could use a service to create shortened URLs so that the link is not too long and messy. Some of the more popular and used options include Tiny.cc and Bitly.
Step 11. Select the text field where you want to insert the link with the right mouse button, then choose the Paste option
The URL you copied earlier will appear in the place on the page you chose.
At this point, be sure to save the code and refresh the page, so that the changes are stored and applied
Method 2 of 2: Mobile Device
Step 1. Launch the YouTube app on a smartphone or tablet
It is characterized by a red rectangular icon inside which a white triangle is displayed with the vertex oriented to the right. You can find it on the home screen or the "Applications" panel.
If you are using an Android device, make sure you have installed an application that allows you to edit a text document. You can download any free text editor featured on the Play Store, such as Monospace, Google Docs, or Text Editor.
Step 2. Tap your profile picture
It is displayed in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 3. Select the item Your channel
It is displayed at the top of the appeared menu.
Step 4. Press the ⁝ button
It is displayed in the upper right corner of the YouTube app.
Step 5. Choose the Share option
All sharing options available on your device will be displayed.
Step 6. Tap the Copy Link option
Depending on the version of the Android operating system you are using, the indicated option may be called Copy. Your YouTube channel URL will be copied to the clipboard.
Step 7. Launch the Notes app
If you have an iPhone or iPad, you can use the Notes app with an icon depicting a white and yellow notebook. If you have an Android device, you can use the Google Docs app or any application that allows you to enter text.
Step 8. Keep your finger pressed somewhere on the screen where you can type text
A context menu will appear in a few seconds.
Step 9. Choose the Paste option
The URL you copied in the previous steps will appear in the indicated spot.
Step 10. Add the following text string? Sub_confirmation = 1 to the end of the URL
Do not insert any blank spaces between the URL and the new text, just type it exactly as it is starting from the last character of the address.
For example, if the URL you pasted is https://www.youtube.com/user/WikiHow?view_as=subscriber, after editing it should look like this https://www.youtube.com/user/WikiHow?view_as = subscriber? sub_confirmation = 1
Step 11. Copy the new URL
Press and hold your finger on the address you just edited, drag the selection handles to highlight the entire URL in blue (or a different color depending on the app), then tap the item Copy from the menu that appeared.
For the option to appear Copy in the context menu, you may need to keep your finger pressed on the link you highlighted.
Step 12. Go to where you want to insert the new link
This can be any program, tool or platform that allows you to manage a URL, including the HTML code of a web page, the profile of a social network or the signature that appears at the bottom of your e-mails.
