Has anyone tagged you on a photo or post that you don't think is necessary or appropriate and you want to remove that tag? This article will show you how.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Delete a Single Tag
Step 1. Go to the Journal
Click on Photos and then, from the menu, click on "Photos of you".
Click on the image. When you have located an image in which you are tagged and you want to remove the tag, click on the image to open it in the larger version
Step 2. Click the Options button
At the bottom of the image you will see an Options button. Click on it to activate a menu and select "Report / Remove Tag".
Step 3. Select the correct action
In the dialog that opens, a number of options will appear, from simple remove tags, to more serious issues like nudity, profanity or spam. To remove the tag, click on the first option, "I want to remove this tag".
Step 4. When you have made your choice from the available options, click on the "Continue" button
Step 5. Confirm the removal of the tag
In the next window, you will get information about who took the photo and removal options. You can choose to simply remove the tag, ask the photographer to remove the photo, or even block who posted it. To remove the tag, the first option - "Remove this tag" - will work fine.
Complete the process. You will see a confirmation that the tag was successfully removed. Click on the "Okay" button and you are done
Method 2 of 3: Delete Tags from Multiple Pictures
Step 1. Delete tags of multiple images at once
From the Activity menu, select Photos of you. Click the checkbox of all the photos you want to remove the tag from.

Step 3. Remove tags from comments
If you've been tagged in a comment, click the Edit button (a pencil icon) in the top right corner of the comment and select "Report / Remove Tag…" from the menu. You can simply remove the tag or ask the commenter to remove the post.
Method 3 of 3: Lock the Tags
Step 1. Change your privacy settings
While there is no way to prevent your friends from tagging you in their Journals, you can still manage the tags in your Journal. From the settings menu at the top of each Facebook window, click on the Settings icon and, from the menu, select Privacy Settings.
Step 2. Select "Diary and Adding Tags" in the left column, and click on the Diary and Tags icon
Step 3. Check the tags

Step 4. Enable auditing
From the menu select Enable.
