This article explains how to hide hashtags on your Instagram posts using Android.
Steps
Step 1. Open Instagram
The icon features a red, orange, and purple camera. It is located on the main screen. If you don't see it, look for it in the app drawer.
Step 2. Tap the “+” symbol to create a new publication
It is located at the bottom of the screen.
Step 3. Select a photo or video
If you'd rather take a photo or shoot a new video rather than selecting it from the gallery, tap "Photos" or "Videos" at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4. Tap Next
Step 5. Edit the photo or video
You can choose a filter at the bottom of the screen or tap "Edit" (if it's a photo) to scroll through other options.
Step 6. Tap Next
Step 7. Write the caption
This text will be visible to other users.
Step 8. Tap Enter
It is located at the bottom right of the keyboard. It allows you to add a new line below the caption.
Step 9. Type.
and touch Enter.
At this point you will have a line containing only one period.
Step 10. Type another.
and touch Enter.
You will now have two lines containing a period.
Step 11. Type.
and touch Enter three more times.
At the end you will have five lines containing only one point. This will allow you to effectively hide hashtags.
Step 12. Write the hashtags
Make sure you insert a space between one hashtag and another.
Here is an example: #guitars #negozidimusica #musicisti
Step 13. Tap Share in the top right
The image or video will appear in the feed and the hashtags will be hidden. People viewing the feed will see some of the lines containing the points, while the hashtags will not be immediately visible.
