This article explains how to choose the first location of the Weather app on an iPhone for which the current weather conditions and weather forecast for the coming days will be shown.
Steps
Step 1. Launch the Weather app
It features a blue icon depicting an image of a stylized white cloud and sun.
Step 2. Press the ⋮ ≡ button
It is located in the lower right corner of the screen.
Step 3. Tap the ⊕ icon
It is located in the upper right corner of the black area of the screen.
Step 4. Enter the name of the location you are looking for
Start typing the name of the location, zip code or the name of the nearest airport in the text field that appears at the top of the screen.
Step 5. Select the location
It will appear in the search results list located at the bottom of the text field.
- At the top of the screen, the current weather conditions of the location you are currently in are displayed. This is an application default setting and cannot be changed. Below this information, the location you have just selected will be displayed along with all the other locations already present.
- Swipe left on a location name in the list, then press the button Delete to delete it from the list.
Step 6. Tap the name of a location displayed at the top of the screen to make it the default
This will show it first when you open the Weather app.
