This article explains how to block a specific YouTube channel on iPhone or iPad. When a channel is blocked, it will no longer be possible to view the corresponding videos, as well as it will not be possible to post a comment or view the comments of other users until the channel is unblocked again.
Steps
Step 1. Launch the YouTube app on the iPhone or iPad
It is characterized by a white icon on which a red rectangle with a white triangle inside is displayed. It is normally placed directly on the home of the device.
Step 2. Tap the magnifying glass icon
It is displayed at the top of the screen.
Step 3. Type the name of the channel you want to block
The search results list will be displayed.
You can also consult the list of channels visible within the tabs Home, Trends or Inscriptions located at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4. Select one of the videos in the channel you want to block
The page of the chosen video will be displayed.
Step 5. Tap the channel name
It is displayed below the video in question. You will be redirected to the main page of the channel the video belongs to.
Step 6. Press the ⁝ button
It is displayed in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 7. Select the Block User option
It is the second item in the menu displayed at the bottom of the screen. A confirmation message will be shown.
Step 8. Press the Lock button
This user's channel will be blocked on your YouTube app.
