The WhatsApp app allows you to communicate instantly with all users with an account through voice calls, text messages and video calls. This article explains how to record what appears on the screen of an iOS device while a video call is in progress on WhatsApp.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Activate the iOS Screen Recording Function
Step 1. Access the Settings by tapping the relevant icon

If you can't find the Settings icon, swipe the screen to the right while on Home (or down, depending on your device model), then type the keyword "Settings" into the search bar displayed at the top of the screen. As soon as the list of results appears on the screen, tap the icon

Part 2 of 2: Record a WhatsApp Video Call
Step 1. Press the Home button of the device, if present
This is the physical button located at the bottom of the front of the device, just below the screen. Pressing the Home button will bring up the iOS Home screen. If the Home button is not present on your device, swipe the screen from bottom to top to return to Home.
Step 2. Tap the WhatsApp app icon to launch it

If you can't find the WhatsApp app icon, swipe the screen to the right while on Home (or down, depending on your device model), then type in the keyword "whatsapp" all inside the search bar displayed at the top of the screen. As soon as the list of results appears on the screen, tap the WhatsApp icon to launch the corresponding app
Step 3. Go to the Calls tab
It has a telephone handset icon and is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4. Select the icon to make a new call located in the upper right corner of the screen

Step 5. Tap the video camera icon next to the contact you want to call
WhatsApp will initiate a video call with the person of your choice.
Step 6. Swipe your finger up from the bottom of the screen
The Control Center will be displayed. The app icon should be present within the Control Center panel

Using some iOS devices, you need to slide your finger down on the screen, starting from the upper right corner, to access the Control Center
Step 7. Press and hold your finger on the Screen Recording app icon
Step 8. Tap the microphone icon located at the bottom of the screen
This will activate the function of the Screen Recording app that allows you to capture the audio signal in addition to the video one.
Step 9. Press the Start Recording button
After 3 seconds, the Screen Recording app will start recording all the images that will appear on the device screen.
A red banner will appear at the top of the screen to indicate that recording is active
Step 10. When you are ready to stop capturing audio and video, tap the red banner
The iOS device will ask you to confirm your willingness to stop recording.
