Nobody wants to look like they just wake up and leave the house without even looking in the mirror. It is obvious that you want to look neat, you want it to be seen that you have spent time and energy making yourself beautiful. Follow these simple steps to find out how to look your best every day!
Steps
Method 1 of 5: Wardrobe
Step 1. Decide on the look you will get
Do you prefer bright and vibrant colors or a more natural look?
Step 2. Clear out your closet
If you can't be 100% objective, ask a friend to help you. You have to keep only the clothes that make you look gorgeous. Even if that t-shirt is soft and comfortable, if it doesn't fit you, you have to discard it. If it's not in your closet, you won't be tempted to wear it. If it doesn't fit your style, you need to decide if it's worth it to keep.
Step 3. Decide which jewelry you will need
While earrings go a long way in making you look good, you or your parents may disagree about piercing your ears. Avoid piercings elsewhere on your body, and never pierce your ears more than two. Necklaces and bracelets are great, but don't wear too many, or you'll end up overdoing it.
Step 4. Assess what you need most
Do you have ten tank tops but only one pair of jeans? Or do you have a few items of everything? It may help to make a list so that you can stay in line, and not go home and then realize you've bought twenty more tank tops. Keep in mind that what you will need varies according to your age and where you live (North Pole and Central Africa require different clothing ) Here are some guidelines on what you should have:
-
Shoes.
- A pair of flat shoes
- High heels that match any of your evening dresses
- One or two pairs of sandals.
- A pair of sneakers. Choose a good brand.
- Two or three t-shirts with graphics
- Four plain shirts or t-shirts
- Some nicer shirts
- Skirts or shorts to match with cute shirts
- One or two jackets
- Three or four sweatshirts
- Four or five tank tops
- A cardigan
- Several pairs of jeans
- Two or three shorts of different styles
- A denim skirt
- Two or three pairs of leggings
- Three pairs of sweatpants
- A swim suit
- A nice pair of clothes
- Ten pairs of underpants (One brown, one black, one white. The others can be any color)
- At least one sports bra
- At least three bras of the kind you wear every day
- A bra for when you wear an elegant dress
Step 5. Go shopping
It can be fun if you go with a friend. Go to the mall, or wherever they sell clothes. Look for the items you need that reflect your style. Maybe even think about what's in fashion at that moment, but you don't have to follow fashion at any cost. Also buy the jewelry you think you need. Since you should already have a lot of what is on the list, you shouldn't overspend, and your parents could help you pay, especially if you need things like underwear and bras.
Method 2 of 5: Hygiene
Step 1. Teeth
- Brush them in the morning and in the evening.
- Floss at least only in the evening.
- Get them straightened by going to the dentist for a brace if you need it (optional).
-
Make them whiten (optional).
Step 2. Take a shower
Take a shower every day. Morning or evening, it doesn't matter.
Shave your armpits in the shower. You should also shave your legs and bikini line if it's summer
Step 3. Hair
- Wash them every other day. If you have super oily hair, maybe it's best to wash it every day, at least temporarily. If you have hair that isn't greasy at all, you might as well just wash it once every three days.
- Use conditioner when washing them. If you have oily hair, try using conditioner before shampooing. Whether you put it on sooner or later, you should always let it sit for a few minutes. Wash the rest of your body while you wait.
-
Get them cut. When you start to see split ends, or if you are ready for a change, give yourself a new cut.
Step 4. Nails
Every one or two weeks, you should:
- Use a hand and foot exfoliator.
- Cut your nails.
- File them.
- Polish them.
-
Apply new polish. The nail polish on the hands is an optional and, if you are not wearing open shoes (for example because you are in the middle of winter and it is 5 degrees below zero outside) also the nail polish for the feet is optional.
Step 5. Face it
- Use an exfoliant once or twice a week. There are several types of exfoliating soaps that you can use.
-
Acne: Get a good face cleanser specifically for acne. Use it every morning. Wash with a different cleanser (such as an exfoliating soap, or even just regular soap) every night.
Step 6. Use the deodorant
Step 7. Change your underwear every day
Step 8. Change your bra at least once a week
Every two or three days would be better.
You should always have some kind of support, except at night. Some shirts are enough to give you the support you need, as are some swimwear
Method 3 of 5: Health
Step 1. Drink 8 glasses of water a day
It will make a big difference, and it's a practically free gimmick, so take advantage of it!
Step 2. Get at least 8 hours of sleep a day
Go to sleep by 9-10. When you watch a show and there's that cute blonde who goes, "Shut up! I'm trying to sleep to be even more beautiful!", She's not kidding.
Step 3. Exercise for at least 30 minutes a day
One hour is better.
Step 4. Eat healthy foods
Don't throw yourself on junk food. Don't drink too much coffee or too much wine, they'll ruin your teeth.
Step 5. Have breakfast every morning
If you're in a hurry, grab a cereal bar.
Method 4 of 5: Personality
Step 1. Smile
You will show that you are happy and friendly. It is one of the simplest things you can do to look more beautiful.
Step 2. Try to have a nice personality
Be happy! Be aware that you are lucky to be who you are. You are beautiful!
Step 3. Be sure of yourself
When you are sure of yourself, people notice it right away, everyone will respect you more and you will feel better about yourself.
-
Being confident doesn't mean gossiping and speaking ill of people, it just means that you have to believe in your values and opinions. On a lighter level, it means you have to like what you are wearing and you have to be aware that the clothes you are wearing fit you just fine.
Which doesn't mean you have to criticize other people for their opinions and values
Step 4. Don't gossip
Nobody will want to be around you if you are a gossip, if you lie and if, in general, you are a bad person. This is one of the bases to experience beautiful days. If you behave like this but after all you are not a bad person, sooner or later you will end up saying "I really regret this!" or "What was I thinking about? She just wanted to be nice!"
Method 5 of 5: Every Morning
Step 1. Wake up early
You will need to wake up at least an hour and a half before you need to leave the house, but it depends on how fast you are and whether or not you decide to shower in the morning. However, it probably won't take you less than an hour and a half since you also have to have breakfast.
Step 2. Take a shower
If you decide to shower in the evening, follow these steps anyway, only in the evening.
- Put shampoo in wet hair (you probably won't do this every day)
- Rinse with cold water.
- Apply conditioner to the ends. Use conditioner only if you have shampooed before. (If you have very oily hair, remember to do this first shampoo.)
- Wash the rest of your body.
- Shave your armpits, legs and, if it's summer, your bikini line.
- Apply the conditioner to the hair starting from the ends and then work upwards.
-
Rinse off the conditioner with cold water.
If you use conditioner before shampooing, this is the time to shampoo yourself
- Dry off with a towel.
- Use body lotion on your legs, elbows, armpits and hands.
-
Run a pumice stone over your feet and apply foot cream.
Step 3. Use the deodorant and a deodorant stick (also vaseline-based if desired)
Step 4. Get dressed
Step 5. Go have breakfast
When you're done, brush your teeth with whitening toothpaste and floss, and use a mouthwash at the end.
Step 6. Wash your face
When you need to wash your face, wash your hands with warm water for twenty seconds, then wet your face with that water and wash with your hands, a facial cleanser and some sugar or salt if you like. Finally rinse with hot water and then cold water. After all this, apply a face cream; at night use a more intense one.
Step 7. For make-up:
try not to look like a clown who just ran away from the circus. Make sure you don't go overboard with black, don't leave round marks of foundation or blush on your face, or overdo it to highlight both lips and eyes.
- Apply a light foundation only if necessary.
-
Choose to highlight either the lips, or the eyes. Alternatively, you can choose a natural look.
-
If you choose the eyes:
- Curl your lashes.
- Use mascara. Use it black or, if you have light lashes, dark brown.
- Use the pencil. You can go over the lower part of the eye if you want but, if you have decided for a more natural look, limit yourself to a very light brown.
- Make something more noticeable like, for example, a rich eye with blended eyeshadow.
- For the lips, use only a lip gloss.
- Apply a light blush.
-
If you choose lips:
- Use lipstick and lip gloss.
- Use a lip liner.
- Curl your lashes.
- Apply mascara.
- Apply a light blush.
-
If you choose a natural look:
- Curl your lashes.
- Apply mascara.
- Use a light blush.
- Apply a clear lip gloss.
- Use a not too obvious eyeshadow.
Step 8. Fix the polish
If the glaze has blown, fix it quickly. This step shouldn't take you long. Do the same thing with your toenails.
Step 9. The hair
If you've just taken a shower, your hair should still be damp. If you haven't, use a nebulizer to moisten them.
- Apply some kind of heat protection to them (e.g. Argan oil). It is essential to protect them from the heat, since the blow dryer, the hair curler and the straightener tend to damage your hair due to the heat.
-
Blow dry them. Try a different style every day. If you want, you can mark on the calendar which hairstyle you will wear every day, so as not to repeat the same hairstyle too many times.
Step 10. Spray some perfume
Be careful not to wear too much. A single splash is enough.
If your deodorant is scented, you can skip this step
Advice
- Use butter, it works wonders. You can use it especially if you have dry skin or if you want to smell good and always have well hydrated skin.
- The make-up and different hairstyles give a lot to many girls. If you want to try something different, like getting yourself a braid or a high ponytail, just look objectively in the mirror. If the likes your look, then that's fine!
- If you prefer brighter colors, use a lip gloss of the color of your choice that is not too exaggerated, but still visible. You can also find lip pencils that will give the impression that your lips are really that color. If you want a more natural look, use colors and foundations that follow your complexion.
- You can exfoliate your hands and feet with sugar or salt if you don't have an exfoliating cream. There are also exfoliating soaps that you can use as an alternative.
- Use light colored nail polishes for your hands, and use more vibrant and vibrant colors for your toenails.
- Here are some nail color combinations: in the fall red, orange and yellow (but not mustard yellow!) - in short, fall colors - will be cute. In spring / summer: pink, yellow and purple (pastel).
- If you are good at decorating nails, follow some tutorials on YouTube and try to replicate their styles!
- If you want a new look, you can dye your hair a different color or a more natural color. But ask your parents for permission first!
Warnings
- Exfoliating it too often will hurt your skin.
- If you use nail polish too often, your nails will turn yellow and ugly, and you will have to use it all the time to cover them.
