Do you want to be noticed and admired for your stunning looks? Here's how to get the most out of your natural beauty.
Steps
Step 1. Take care of the daily "maintenance"
Set aside time for hygiene, to be sure you are taking care of it, and to remember to value yourself. Here are some basic guidelines.
- Wash your face twice a day. Even if you are exhausted at night, at least try to remove your make-up and use a moisturizer.
- Brush your teeth at least twice a day. For best results, brush your teeth after every meal. Try to floss every night.
- Take a shower every day. It doesn't mean that you will have to wash your hair every day (and in some cases you shouldn't - read on for more information), but you should cleanse your body every day.
- Take care of your nails. You should trim your nails at least once a week, and you can try a manicure or pedicure.
- Remove unwanted hair regularly. Removing eyebrows, shaving legs and armpits, and getting rid of other hair doesn't have to be part of your routine. If you do decide to remove those hairs though, do it regularly.
- Make sure you wear freshly laundered clothes. Clean clothes will look better and give you a more attractive look.
Step 2. Take care of your hair
Have split ends trimmed every 6-8 weeks, and have your color corrected at the same rate. Here are some ways to get the most out of your hair:
- Choose a hairstyle that flatters your face. Hair styling can highlight different parts of your face, so choose a style that highlights your strengths. For example, if you have prominent cheekbones and a wide jaw, pulling your hair back will make it look more prominent, while straight hair on the sides of your face will make it look longer.
- Don't wash your hair every day. If you don't have fine hair like a baby's, wash your hair once every two days. On the day you don't wash it, use a boar bristle brush to distribute the naturally forming oil in your hair - it will be shiny and soft.
- Avoid using too many products on your hair. One or two days a week, do not use hair dryers, straighteners and straighteners. Heat can damage your hair and make it look brittle.
Step 3. Enhance the appearance of your face
Even if your hair and clothes are just the norm, you can take care of your face to go from cute to stunning. Here's how to get the most out of your features, with or without makeup:
- Make your skin glow. In addition to washing and using a moisturizer twice a day, avoid pimples by keeping your hands away from your face and sleeping on clean pillows. Treat pimples with topical treatments using salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Or, for a quick nighttime remedy, squeeze two uncoated aspirins (the white ones), mix with a drop of water, and leave the paste on the pimples while you sleep.
- Refine your brows. Start by removing just a few hairs, then decide whether to remove more. To feel less pain, avoid doing it in the week before your period. Or you can hold an ice cube on your skin for a minute before you start using the tweezers.
- Wear makeup that matches your face. Get advice from an expert or follow guides on the internet to find out how.
- Follow the lip or eye rule. If you wear makeup, focus your attention on your eyes or lips - not both. If you have beautiful lips and are wearing red lipstick to make them stand out, avoid using heavy eyeliner and eye contour, and only use a swipe of mascara. If you want to highlight your eyes, paint your lips with a light lip gloss.
Step 4. Wear clothes that fit you well
Clothes that are suitable for another beautiful girl may not look good on you, or vice versa. The good news is that figuring out what's good about you is easier than you think. Try these tips:
-
Know whether to wear warm or cool colors. Wearing the right colors will make your skin glow, while the wrong ones could make it faded. The best way to figure this out is to look at the inside of your wrist in bright light - are your veins blue or green under your skin? If they are green, wear warm colors; if they are blue you will be better off with cool colors.
- Warm colors include bright yellow, yellow-based reds and greens, browns, golds, creams, and any color with a yellow or orange tint.
- Cool colors are deep purple, blue, green, black, white and cool pastel colors with blue hues.
- Take a look at what's in your closet. You've probably already picked the colors that look best on you.
- Make sure your clothes are the right size. They should cover you well, without being too loose, and be snug without squeezing you too tightly. If any clothes are larger than you would like, take them to a tailor to have them fixed.
Step 5. Toned up
Exercising regularly will allow you to have a better physique and will increase your self-esteem and your endorphins. Try to set aside thirty minutes for exercise, at least three or four times a week, or start playing a sport. If you need ideas, consider these activities:
- Race
- Pilates
- Yoga
- I swim
- Tennis
Step 6. Sleep well
Not getting enough sleep will give you puffy red eyes and a lackluster physical presence. Studies have shown that too little sleep causes you to eat more and weakens your immune system.
