This article explains how to get the Rock Smash special move while playing Pokémon FireRed. In order to reach the place called "Primisola" of the "Settipelago", you will first have to beat the head of the Cinnamon Island gym. You will also need to be in possession of the Surf move to be able to cross the large body of water and reach the "Terme Laviche" of "Primisola".
Steps
Step 1. Reach "Primisola"
This location can only be reached after defeating the Cinnamon Island Gym Leader. You can get to the island aboard a ship.
Step 2. Take the "Via Vulcanica" and walk east to the end of the path
Step 3. Use the "Surf" move heading north until you reach a sandy beach
Keep moving north, crossing an expanse of tall grass, until you reach a second sandy area. At this point, walk north until you see the opening of a cave.
Step 4. Enter the cave
In the upper left corner of the screen you will find the "Terme Laviche". Follow the path north, go up the stairs you will find, then walk east until you meet a man standing between two waterfalls.
Step 5. Talk to the man
He'll give you the Rock Smash special move. With this move you will be able to eliminate the large boulders that block your way and you will be able to clear the passage.
