This article will teach you how to make a solar panel at home, with which you can turn on small appliances such as a digital clock, a radio and so on.
Steps
Step 1. Take a copper sheet and cut it in half
After cutting it you will have two parts of the same size.
Step 2. Fully heat one of the copper foil pieces using a gas stove or cooker
Heat it for 20-30 minutes, then let it cool in a quiet place.
Step 3. Attach a copper wire to it
Clean the area where you will attach the cable.
Step 4. Take the other piece of copper sheet and attach it to another copper cable
Step 5. Take a plastic bottle and cut it in half
At the bottom of the bottle prepare a mixture of hot water and salt.
Step 6. Put the copper foil you heated into the bottle
Only the copper foil must touch the bottle, not the copper wire.
Step 7. On the opposite side put the other piece of copper sheet
Step 8. Now your solar cell is ready to be attached to anything via the wire joined to the copper foils
Advice
- Put the solar cell in the sun. When the sun heats the water, the solar panel is ready to do its job.
- Use the salt to create the solution in the bottle.
- Change the water every 2-3 days to prevent algae from growing there.
