Sometimes you want to tell a story without using too many words. Stick figures can be modified depending on how you want to use them. Start with the basic figure, then make any changes you want. Learning to create and use stick figures will open the door to a new kind of art.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Body
Step 1. Draw a circle for the head
Step 2. Draw a cross connected to the head
Step 3. Draw the 2 legs
Also make sure that the horizontal line of the cross is shorter than the vertical one.
Method 2 of 2: Face
Step 1. Draw a curved or straight line in the lower half of the circle
If you want to draw the teeth, draw 2 triangles sticking out of the mouth.
Step 2. Draw the 2 eyes
You can draw:
- One point, it's the easiest.
- Two circles with a dot in the center.
- Two eyes close together to express fear or surprise.
- The symbol of the Dollar or the little hearts.
Step 3. Draw a point for the nose
Step 4. Finished
Advice
- Use the little men to illustrate stories. By connecting them in series and in different positions, they can express many situations with different meanings.
- Stick figures should be drawn with simple lines and circles. They can be more specific but no longer defined. You don't need to be an artist to draw them. The men can be of any style and shape.
- You can't go wrong making a stick man.
- The lines of the men can also be curved. A hunched back or a bent arm can express different emotions and situations. Each little man is unique.
- Experiment with other figures and shapes.
- Learn the basics and then expand them. You will be able to tell interesting stories without using words.
