Fabrics, accelerators, and torch accessories work well for starting a bonfire, but are limited to one use only.
Steps

Step 1. Tear or cut the disposable fabric (eg
an old shirt or a rag) forming strips 5 cm wide and 30 cm long. Use a fabric made of natural fibers (cotton) so that, after being soaked with the accelerator, it does not drip.

Step 2. Secure a strip of fabric to one end of the stick (eg
with staples) and wrap it around the wood securely.

Step 3. Wrap sturdy wire (about 5-15cm) around the fabric

Step 4. Pour your chosen accelerant (kerosene, fuel oil, gas) into a basin in sufficient quantity to submerge the fabric wrapped around the torch

Step 5. Leave your torch submerged for a couple of hours so that it absorbs the accelerant

Step 6. Light your torch
Advice
- Grab your torch at the opposite end of the flame, and nowhere else.
- If you wish, you can modify the material of the handle of your torch for prolonged use over time.
- Make sure that the torch is always pointed upwards so that the handle does not risk catching fire.
