Step 1. Look for them on social networks or their official websites, making sure they are frequented by celebrities in the flesh, not by agents, advertisers or people pretending to be someone else
The following list goes in order from the most likely to the least possible medium.
- Twitter. Read tweets written by celebrities about their daily experiences and see photos taken in everyday life. If your favorite character manages the account, there is a good chance of getting in touch.
- The official website. While it's not the best way to contact celebrities because it's often handled by PRs or agents, there you might find "real" responses to fan emails. If you don't see them, opt for another medium.
- Facebook. In most cases, Facebook accounts are not administered by the celebrity in question. Look for publications and images that give you the certainty that it was the character himself who published them. If there are only “professional” photos and posts, it will be difficult to contact him.

- Your letter could be seen by a lot of people, so don't say anything too personal or embarrassing. Intimate details discourage agents from getting your message across to stardom.
Warnings
- You don't have to pay to connect with a celebrity. In fact, there are many online services that require money to send your letter. Remember this is a fraud.
- Don't call, pester, or stalk celebrities. If you don't get a reply after a letter or two, don't write again. Persistent or rude requests are unbearable and, in more serious cases, can be considered stalking.
