Do you have a sense of stiffness and swelling inside the ear? Do you feel painful, itchy or have an unpleasant smell? Are you experiencing partial hearing loss or are you hearing sounds inside your ear? You may have ear plugs blocking your ears, find out how to remove them by reading the guide.
Steps
Step 1. Get rid of external earwax residues
Use a warm, damp cloth to remove any visible traces. Do not use any objects, such as cotton swabs, as they could cause serious damage to the ear canal.
Step 2. Soften the hardened wax that is causing the blockage in the ear
With an eyedropper, apply an emollient ingredient, such as oil, glycerin, or hydrogen peroxide. Repeat twice a day for 3-5 days.
Step 3. Clean your ears using warm water
Use a bulb syringe to remove drops and softened ear wax.
Step 4. Sprinkle the warm water into your ear gently, then place a towel on the part and tilt your head to help the fluids escape
Step 5. Still tilting your head, dry the outer part of the ear as much as possible with a towel or hairdryer set at a low temperature
Step 6. Repeat the previous steps one more time if the first attempt was not as successful
Step 7. If symptoms persist and you are unable to remove the earwax block, see a doctor
He will be able to remove it manually and treat any infections.
