Before starting to take Nugenix, it is best to consult your doctor.
Steps
Part 1 of 3: Evaluating When To Take Nugenix
Step 1. Talk to your doctor
Before starting to take a supplement or drastically changing your exercise schedule, it is wise to speak to your doctor. It is especially important to do this before taking Nugenix if you are allergic to salicylates (such as aspirin), if you have ulcers or gastritis or other serious medical conditions. The Nugenix is meant to be taken only by adults.
Step 2. Wait at least thirty minutes after your last meal
Take the Nugenix on an empty stomach. If you've already eaten, wait at least half an hour before taking a dose of the supplement.
Step 3. Aim to take Nugenix 30-45 minutes before your morning workout
This supplement can give you the energy you need to tackle physical activity. If you work out in the morning, grab the Nugenix before starting to take advantage of the boost.
Step 4. Take the Nugenix as soon as you wake up on non-training days
When you don't have any exercise planned, take your planned dose of supplement as soon as you start the day.
Part 2 of 3: Establishing the Dosage
Step 1. Start with three capsules a day
You should take them in one go, with a full glass of water (250-350ml). For best results, take Nugenix on an empty stomach.
Step 2. Increase the dosage by 1-2 capsules if needed
If after a week or two of taking the supplement you don't feel your energy levels increase, try increasing the dosage to 4-5 capsules a day. Take them all together.
Do not take more than 5 Nugenix capsules per day
Step 3. Wait eight weeks to see results
Manufacturers advise the public to try Nugenix for at least two months before evaluating the changes. For best results, follow a weight training program during that time.
Part 3 of 3: Raising Testosterone Levels in Other Ways
Step 1. Work out with weights 3-5 times a week
Even if you don't take Nugenix, regular exercise is a great way to naturally increase testosterone levels. In particular, resistance exercises have been shown to cause increased testosterone production. You can try:
- Do weights.
- Use dumbbells.
- High-intensity interval training.
Step 2. Eat a mix of carbohydrates, proteins and healthy fats
Maintaining a healthy diet is another proven method of increasing testosterone levels. Avoid processed foods and sugars. Instead, try to eat whole foods more often. Be sure to include:
- Proteins, such as eggs, beans, lentils, chicken, and beef.
- Fruits and vegetables, such as spinach, broccoli, sweet potatoes, peppers, apples, bananas, berries, and mangoes.
- Cereals, such as brown rice, quinoa, oats, and whole wheat bread.
- Healthy fats, such as olive oil, coconut oil, and avocado.
Step 3. Reduce your stress levels
When you feel stressed, your body produces cortisol. When you feel safe, the body releases testosterone. By working to reduce your stress levels, you can increase testosterone production. You can try:
- Meditation
- Yoga
- Positive thought
- Psychotherapy
Step 4. Take a vitamin D supplement
Vitamin D deficiency is a very common problem. Including a supplement with this vitamin in your diet has been shown to help increase testosterone production.
- Take 2,000 IU of vitamin D or more if you are hardly ever exposed to sunlight.
- Consult your doctor before starting to take a vitamin D supplement.
