Winstrol is the trade name for a synthetic anabolic steroid, stanozolol. The generic drug is also commercially available, which is cheaper. Stanozolol (also known as stanazole) is similar to testosterone and is generally used by veterinarians on debilitated animals (particularly dogs and horses) to improve muscle growth, stimulate red blood cell production, increase bone density and appetite. In the US, this drug is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat anemia and hereditary angioedema (swelling of blood vessels) in humans, although a prescription is required. Winstrol is also able to improve physical performance; despite being banned, it is still often used by athletes and bodybuilders, usually illegally. Stanazole should only be taken with the permission and under the supervision of a physician.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Take it under the supervision of a physician
Step 1. Talk to your doctor before taking any steroids
Anabolic steroids (which help synthesize muscle mass and protein) are powerful drugs that offer various health benefits, but are all considered controlled substances, requiring a prescription due to the potential for abuse and the associated serious side effects.. Your GP will hardly prescribe anabolic steroids unless you suffer from angioedema, aplastic anemia (including circulatory problems) or other muscle wasting disorders. Desiring bigger muscles or more strength is not reason enough for an ethically sound doctor to prescribe these medications.
- In case of hereditary angioedema, the recommended starting dosage for an adult is 2 mg, three times a day. If the swelling is successfully reduced, the dosage can be reduced after 1-3 months to 2 mg per day.
- For aplastic anemia, the typical dosage for an adult or child generally starts at 1 mg / kg per day, but can be gradually increased.
- Winstrol comes in round pink tablets (to be taken orally) or in a serum to be injected directly into muscle tissue. The duration of the treatment varies from a few weeks up to six months at a time.
Step 2. Take Winstrol with plenty of water
If you are taking the lozenges by mouth, remember to always accompany them with a full glass of water. This way they dissolve faster and reduce the risk of stomach irritation. The tablets contain a compound, called c17 methyl, which prevents the active ingredient from being degraded in the stomach and liver, so that it can act directly on the muscles and trigger their growth. However, the downside to c17 methyl is that it irritates the stomach and is toxic to the liver. - Stanozolol taken by mouth does not lose its effectiveness (when compared to injections) as much as other anabolic steroids.
Step 3. Do not drink any alcohol during this treatment
All types of steroids, especially anabolic ones, are harmful to the liver because they are toxic (it is difficult or impossible to break them down into harmless byproducts) and stanazole is no exception. For this reason, you should not drink any alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, spirits), even in moderation, while taking these drugs, because alcohol (ethanol) is also toxic to the liver and the combination of the two substances has a double " negative impact".
- Any potential benefits of moderate alcohol consumption (blood thinning, antioxidant properties) do not outweigh the negative side effects that are generated when combined with steroid intake.
- Don't let giving up alcohol affect your social life. If your friends are drinkers, choose non-alcoholic beers or cocktails or grape juice.
Step 4. Don't take Winstrol with blood thinners
These drugs (also called blood thinners), such as heparin or warfarin, reduce the body's ability to thicken blood and may be useful for some cardiovascular disorders. However, anabolic steroids tend to increase sensitivity to blood thinners, thereby increasing the risk of internal bleeding and bruising. Therefore, avoid taking the two types of medications at the same time or ask your doctor to reduce the dosage of the thinners to reach a more appropriate level.
- You must also avoid antiplatelet medications (such as aspirin) while taking anabolic steroids.
- Anticoagulants reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack, so they often need to take priority over steroids if your doctor feels they can't be taken at the same time for safety reasons.

Step 2. Consider taking Winstrol for aplastic anemia
It is a rare and serious disease (usually starting in childhood) that drastically reduces the production of red blood cells. Warnings
- Winstrol (stanozolol) is a drug that improves sports performance, but is banned by the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) and other sports associations, as it is considered a doping product.
