Fried rice is a savory dish typically made up of fried rice with onion and a variety of other vegetables. The shrimp one gives a seafood twist to this traditional dish, and is delicious both on its own and served with other Chinese food items. Method 1 of 6: Simple Shrimp Fried Rice Ingredients
- 225 gr. of shelled and cleaned raw shrimps
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1/2 white onion, sliced
- 4 cups of boiled rice
- 1/2 cups of sliced carrots
- 1/2 cup diced green pepper
- 1/2 cup diced red pepper
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of Sesame Oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Method 2 of 6: Fried Rice with Simple Shrimp
Step 1. Cook 4 cups of white rice
You can boil the rice on the spot following the instructions on the package, or you can use the cooked rice from the day before.
Step 2. Sauté the finely chopped onion and peppers in a skillet over medium heat in vegetable oil
Dice 1/2 white onion, 1/2 cup green pepper and 1/2 cup red pepper and sauté them with a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Let it fry for at least two minutes, until the onion has become transparent, then remove the pan from the heat.
Step 3. Use another pan to fry the 225g
shrimp peeled and cleaned in vegetable oil over medium heat. Let them fry for 3-4 minutes, until they lose their pink color.
Step 4. Place the shrimp and rice in the pan with the vegetables and cook over medium heat
Add one tablespoon of soy sauce and one tablespoon of sesame oil and mix to blend the flavors. Turn the ingredients and let them sauté for at least another 3 minutes, until the rice is crispy. Then remove the fried rice from the heat.
Step 5. Season the fried rice with salt and pepper to your taste
Step 6. Serve this simple shrimp fried rice immediately garnished with a handful of cilantro
Method 3 of 6: Ingredients for Fried Rice with Shrimp and Eggs
- 6 tablespoons of Peanut Oil
- 2 Shallots, finely chopped
- 1 (5 cm) piece of peeled and grated ginger
- 1/2 small Chinese cabbage
- 2 cloves of minced garlic
- 225 gr. Shrimp peeled and washed
- 3 large eggs lightly beaten
- 4 cups long grain rice
- 1/2 cup defrosted peas
- 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1/2 bunch of sliced shallots
- 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
Method 4 of 6: Fried Rice with Shrimp and Eggs
Step 1. Heat 2 tablespoons of peanut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
Wait a minute for the oil to heat up.
Step 2. Add the shallot and ginger and sauté them for one minute
Add 2 thinly sliced shallots and 1 (5cm) piece of peeled and grated ginger. This should be enough for them to flavor.
Step 3. Add the Chinese cabbage and sauté for 8 minutes
Add 1/2 small head of finely chopped Chinese cabbage, after removing the heart. Let it fry until soft and soft and season with a pinch of salt.

Step 12. Top the shrimp and egg fried rice with 1/2 bunch of finely chopped scallions and 1/2 cup chopped peanuts

Method 5 of 6: Ingredients for Thai Spicy Fried Rice with Shrimp
- 1 tablespoon of Sesame Oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon of Coconut Oil
- 225 gr. of peeled and washed shrimps
- 1 cup of sliced shallots
- 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
- 1 Thai chili, diced
- 3 cups of cooked Jasmine Rice
- 150 g of seared Broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons of chopped mint
- 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
- Salt to taste
Method 6 of 6: Spicy Thai Fried Rice with Shrimp
Step 1. Cook 3 cups of Jasmine rice
Put the rice in boiling water and let it boil for the time indicated in the instructions. You can also use rice cooked a day or two before.
Step 2. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in the wok over medium high heat
Wait a minute for the oil to heat up a little.
Step 3. Add 2 eggs and cook them for two minutes
Break the eggs into the wok and let them cook for one minute on each side. When cooked, place them on a cutting board and cut them, then set them aside.
Step 4. Add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil to the pan
Heat over medium-high heat.
Step 5. Add the peeled and cleaned shrimp
Cook them for 1-2 minutes on both sides, until golden brown.
Step 6. Sauté the shallot, garlic and chilli together
Add 1 cup of sliced shallot, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic and 1 diced red pepper; cook for 1 minute.
Step 7. Add the rice and cook the ingredients for another 1-2 minutes
Do not mix the ingredients as they blend.
Step 8. Add the broccoli, eggs, soy sauce, fish sauce, mint and cilantro
Add the seared broccoli florets, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of fish sauce, 2 tablespoons of chopped mint and 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley.
Step 9. Serve
Season Spicy Thai Shrimp Fried Rice with salt to taste and serve immediately.
