Steps
Method 1 of 3: Simple pork chops
Step 1. Purchase some fresh pork chops
You can decide whether to buy pork chops with or without bone. A cut of meat without the bone tends to be less fat, but also less flavorful after cooking. Conversely, a bone-in chop will be less expensive and will release much more flavor by cooking.
Step 2. Rinse the meat and pat it dry with absorbent paper
Step 3. Season the chops
Sprinkle both sides of the steak with salt and pepper. If you wish, you can add other spices such as paprika or garlic powder.
Step 4. Pour the butter into a pan and heat it over medium-high heat
Let the butter melt completely before cooking the meat. Make sure the pan is hot.
Step 5. Arrange the chops in the pan
Try not to overlap the steaks. Don't worry if you have to cook the chops in stages because your pan isn't big enough to accommodate them all.
Step 6. Cook the chops for 3-4 minutes and then turn them over to the other side
If the steaks are 2 to 3 cm thick, let them cook a little longer.
Step 7. Continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes
Step 8. Remove the chops from the heat and arrange them on a serving plate
Method 2 of 3: Pork cutlet
Step 1. Rinse the meat and pat it dry with absorbent paper
Step 2. Prepare the egg mixture
In a bowl, mix the egg and milk using a wire whisk.
Step 3. Prepare the breading
In a second bowl, mix the flour, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix all the ingredients carefully.
Step 4. In a cast iron skillet, heat the extra virgin olive oil
Use medium-high heat and wait until the pan is hot before starting.
Step 5. Dip the chop into the egg and milk mixture
Use kitchen tongs, or your hands, and make sure both sides of the steak are well wrapped in the egg.
Step 6. Bread the meat in the flour
Again, make sure the steak is completely covered in flour.
Step 7. Place the chop in the pan
Step 8. Repeat the previous steps with all remaining chops
Step 9. After 3-4 minutes, turn the steak to the other side
Step 10. Cook the meat for another 3-4 minutes
The chops will be ready as soon as they are golden brown.
Step 11. Take them out of the pan and serve them
Method 3 of 3: Honey Glazed Pork Chops
Step 1. Rinse the meat and pat it dry with absorbent paper
Step 2. Season the meat with salt and pepper
Step 3. Heat the pan with oil using medium-high heat
Step 4. Arrange the chops in the pan
Make sure you don't overlap them.
Step 5. Cook them for about 3-4 minutes
Step 6. Turn the chops to the other side
Step 7. Sprinkle each steak with a spoonful of honey
Step 8. Turn the meat again after 3-4 minutes
Step 9. Remove the chops from the pan and serve
