Beat the ingredients in the bowl with a whisk. Alternatively, blend them until you have a smooth, homogeneous drink.

Step 1. Mix the yogurt and sugar
Put the yogurt and sugar in a blender jug. Blend them for a minute until you get a frothy drink. You can also whisk them in a bowl.
Step 2. Add the milk, cardamom powder and ice
Pour the milk, cardamom powder, and ice into the blender jug. Blend them until you get a smooth and homogeneous drink. In case you are using a bowl, beat the milk and powdered cardamom until you get the same result, but exclude the ice cubes.
Step 3. Serve the drink

You can put ice cubes in the glass and pour lassi over them if you have prepared it by hand
Method 3 of 4: Make a Mango Lassi
Step 1. Prepare the mangoes
Peel the fruit and remove the pulp from the stone. Put it in the jug of a blender.
Step 2. Pour the yogurt, sugar, milk and ice into the jug
At this point, close it with the lid and blend the ingredients until you get a smooth and frothy drink.
Don't add too much sugar if the mangoes are particularly sweet. Remember that you can always cut back on sugar after making mangoes
Step 3. Serve the drink
Distribute the lassi among the various glasses and serve immediately. You could garnish each glass with mango bits.
Method 4 of 4: Try a Variant
Step 1. Add some spices
Add half a teaspoon of ground cumin, ground turmeric, or garam masala to spice up the drink. This variant is preferable for those who want to prepare a salty lassi. On the other hand, a sweet lassi can become tastier and acquire spicy notes by adding half a teaspoon of cardamom or ginger powder.
Step 2. Add some fruit
Make a sweet lassi and stir in your favorite fruit. You could use strawberries, papaya, bananas, or coconut.
Try cutting and freezing the fruit before adding it to the lassi to make it colder and fluffy
Step 3. Flavor it with syrup or milk
Lassi is usually made from yogurt. However, it is possible to replace yogurt, water or regular milk with coconut milk, which will give the drink a subtle tropical note. Alternatively, you could flavor it with rose water syrup, vanilla extract, or honey.
Don't overdo the ingredients, or it might get too sweet. Choose only 1 or 2 flavors to bring them out to the fullest
Step 4. Garnish
Garnish the lassi with one of the following ingredients to flavor it even more and make it more pleasing to the eye:
- Chopped pistachios;
- Mint twigs;
- A sprinkle of turmeric or cumin
- Chopped almonds;
- Fruit pieces.
