Make a cookie pan with foil and some masking tape! You don't need anything else! Forget the copper wire and aluminum pans: this article is dedicated to creative people, but a little lazy, who want to create pretty shaped cookies without having to go out to buy complicated tools.
If you don't have tinfoil in the house, your neighbor will have it for sure! Explain to him that you need to bake some cookies and you will probably make a new friend as well.
Steps
Step 1. Cut a sheet of aluminum foil
Step 2. Roll out the paper so that the longer side is horizontally
Step 3. Make a fold about 1, 20 cm wide or at most 2, 5 cm
Step 4. Continue folding the sheet until you have a long, fairly strong strip of aluminum
Making the stripe thicker helps to keep the shape better.
Step 5. Shape the aluminum strip to your preferred shape
Obviously, the strip will be as long as the sheet you cut. Experiment with bending the aluminum in different directions to create interesting shapes.
Step 6. When you get the shape you want, secure the ends of the foil strip using the tape of your choice
Maybe you can try clear tape. Just make sure it's clean.
Advice
- If you need to make the mold more stable, reinforce the top edge with another aluminum strip.
- Do you want to make a very large cookie pan? No problem! Take several strips of aluminum and tape them together.
- If the mold doesn't seem strong enough, reinforce it with a strip made from an aluminum pan.
Warnings
- Often, tinfoil is sold in sharp-edged packages that make it easier to cut aluminum foil - watch out for your fingers!
- If you are using a thicker type of aluminum, such as disposable baking pan, beware - the edges are sharp and can cause fairly deep wounds. Be careful as you cut this type of aluminum and fold back the sharp edges.
