You can send food to customers and family members all over the world using the various express couriers and postal services. However, to ensure the freshness of the food you must use specific packaging materials. By preparing a package in the right way (for example by inserting packets of chemical ice) and sealing it tightly, you can be sure that the food will remain intact and the recipient can enjoy it upon arrival.

Step 1. Bake the food you want to ship
Once they have cooled and are ready to pack, find a container that is roughly the same size.
Step 2. Place the food in the container
Under it put a pack of artificial ice.

When sending meat, poultry or fish, add another ice pack on top of the container.
Step 4. Find a box that is similar in size to the container

If the box is much larger than the container, you can add the filler material first and then the container itself. If, on the other hand, the space is minimal, use polystyrene sheets to insert into the cracks.
Step 6. Write "Refrigerated Shipping" on the box with a black permanent marker
In this way the recipient will understand that he must put the contents of the package in the refrigerator as soon as he receives it.
Step 7. Fold a Styrofoam sheet in half and insert it into the box
Slip the container with the food into the package and add another folded Styrofoam sheet to the top of the package.
Step 8. Fold the flaps of the box inward to close it
Seal everything with packing tape.
Step 9. Take the package to the post office and mail it
Remember to ask for an express service to make sure the package arrives the next day and the food is still fresh once delivered to the recipient.
Step 10. Ask for a package tracking number and keep the receipt until delivery in case any problems arise with shipping

Advice
- Use a container and a box that are slightly larger than the size of the food you want to send, this way the contents will not move around inside the package during shipment.
- If you can't find a box that is the same size as the contents, then use some filling and packaging material to prevent the food from moving excessively.
Warnings
- Even if the food has been smoked, cured, or vacuum-packed, there is still a risk that it will deteriorate. When food is delivered hot and with a temperature above 4.4 ° C, then it is inedible or safe to consume.
- If you choose the wrong type of delivery, even if express, the food contained in the package can deteriorate and the recipient could risk food poisoning.
