This article explains how to change the name of a Facebook page dedicated to a company, organization or public figure using the application for Android.
Steps
Step 1. Open Facebook on your Android device
The icon corresponds to a blue box with a white "f" inside. It is usually found on the main screen.
Step 2. Press the ≡ button
It is located in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 3. Select the page you want to edit
The pages are listed in the section of the same name.
If you don't see the page you were looking for, click on See them all to view more.
Step 4. Click on Edit page
This button is represented by a pencil symbol and is located under the "Add a button" button (the third icon from the left).
Step 5. Select Settings
This option is at the bottom of the list.
Step 6. Select About page
It is the third option.
Step 7. Replace the old name with the new one
To do this, click on the current name, delete it and then type in the new one.
Step 8. Scroll down and hit Save
This blue button is located at the bottom of the screen. The page name will then be updated.
