This article explains how to create a note on your Facebook profile. Note that you can't write a note using the Facebook mobile app.
Steps
Step 1. Open the Facebook site
Go to using your favorite browser. If the login is automatic, the "News" section will be displayed.
If you do not log in automatically, enter your e-mail address (or telephone number) and password in the spaces provided at the top right of the page to continue
Step 2. Click on your display name at the top right
The section relating to your personal profile will open.
Step 3. Select the item Other
It is located just below your first and last name displayed in the center, below your profile picture. A drop-down menu will open.
Step 4. Click on the Notes item
It is the penultimate in the list of the drop-down menu relating to the item Other you clicked on. If the voice Note does not appear in the list, follow these simple steps:
- Click on the item Manage sections. It is the last option in the list of the menu for the item Other;
- Scroll down to the "Notes" option;
- Check the box next to "Notes";
- Click on the button Save and wait for the page to reload;
- Click on the item again Other to reopen the drop-down menu and select the item Note which should have appeared at this point.
Step 5. Click the + Add Note button
It is located in the upper right corner of the page. A window will open for you to create a new note.
Step 6. Create the note
You can customize the following aspects:
- Photo - click on the banner placed at the top of the window and choose the desired photo;
- Title - click on the "Title" field to enter a title for the note;
- Text - type the text of the note in the field located under the heading "Title".
Step 7. Click the Publish button
It is located in the lower right corner of the window. The note will be posted to your Facebook journal. It will also be saved in the notes section.
