Method 1 of 2: Installing the Satellite Dish
Step 1. Verify that your dish points directly to the equator
Since the satellites transmitting the signal are positioned directly above the Earth's equator, there should be no obstructions that could restrict the connection.
Have the dish installed in an open area away from trees and other obstructions. For example, if you live in Italy, have the dish installed on the southernmost part of the roof or south of the tallest trees on your property, to point it towards the equator
Step 2. Verify that your satellite internet equipment remains connected
After installing the dish, you can use the internet at any time, as long as the coaxial cable that connects the modem to the satellite is always connected.
