Driving a car uphill can be a difficult activity, especially if the inclination of the road to be tackled is very high. If the machine keeps shutting down, follow the simple steps in this tutorial to avoid this.
Steps
Step 1. Learn to harness the power of the engine
When you go uphill, you need to harness more power than when you go down a level road.
Step 2. The first step is to downshift a few meters before tackling the start of the climb
It also tries to maintain an adequate speed.
Step 3. When you feel that the car loses speed and picks up, shift down again, engaging third or, if necessary, second, then press the accelerator pedal
Step 4. At this point, if you feel that the engine is unable to revive, engage one of the lower gears, the second or even the first, then press the accelerator pedal
Once you have picked up some speed, shift into a higher gear, this will prevent you from putting too much strain on the engine.
